i dont really get wut the whole clan things about but my favorite album is capitol punishment by megadeth

I know you people are going to hate me for this but I dont give a crap.Why do you all like Megadeth so much?Mustaine has good guitar parts but other than that I dont get why people think they are so good.Please explain.

Dimebag: Ultra-Violence all the way, although Frolic gets alot of playing time in my CD player.

and I cant understand why they still care about a group that has only put out 3 unquestionable decent releases 20 years ago ($hitallica) and why they think the ultimate thrash is a boring and bland most of the times group like slayer...Dont worry about being hated, there are worse... :thumb:

If you came here more often you might realise that MOST of us don't care about Metallica anymore. Secondly you'll see that most of us are knowledgable when it comes to Thrash, so stop mouthing off. Slayer aren't bland and boring, they broke most of the barriers in the day which led to more Extreme music, so I can't see why you complain.

Check out Whiplash. Or Nuclear Assault (they don't really sound anything like Sodom, but are good nonetheless).

ive heard nuclear assault i wasnt too impressed but that was from good times bad times single though, they do a cover of happy days theme tune :lol:

Check out Game Over, for some crazy thrash/grind. They did a cover of Ballroom Blitz, which is surprisingly good.

That song ****ing ROCKS! I've d/loaded a****load of NA tracks recently. Most of them are good, the aonly problem is that they're all so ****ing alike each other

You could say that about a lot of bands, though. Slayer for example. NA is about being as fast as they ****ing can, which is what all thrash should be about :cool:

Slayer, Kreator, Exodus and Testament - Very good definition of thrash.

I feel that Testament, Exodus and Kreator are underrated though. They should get the same respect that Metallica and Slayer get.

i have wrote my Schizophrenia review but posting a new thread is being annoying and not letting me add pictures and change the size :confused:

Metalist - ANY decent thrash band should get the same respect Metallica gets. I wouldn't give MoP more than a 6/10 any day.

How do you mean? Change the size of what?

changing the size of the text for the title of the album and clicking the insert image button, i would click them and the page goes to the top :confused: but its alright now anyway and ive posted the review.

Metallica only get recognition because they sold out. Any decent thrasher knows Metallica suck. Exodus have released one good album, the rest have been mediocre at best (BBB is a classic, though) and Testament just plain suck. Kreator should be recognised as one of Europe's finest ever metal bands, every release (well, except for Renewal > Endorama, they sucked) has been excellent. They really should have utilised Vetterli's talents better though, instead of releasing that semi-mallcore crap.
