French is mostly a language I speak with. I rarely read french books (reading one right now, and it's the first time I read a book in french for my own pleasure. I plan on picking up on that, though), and my writing isn't exactly impeccable, either. I'm not horrible, but I still make a considerable amount of mistakes.

that's what happens when you learn to write in the french program of an english school. You're not exactly up to par with most of the people going to french schools as far as knowledge of the written aspect of the language.

However, the french programs in english schools here are much better than what Cocaine was describing.

Yep, my entire family is french.

I really want to do a family tree to see how long ago my ancestors first settled here. All I know as far as heritage is that my family name originates from Brittany, a celtic part of France.

they'll list any show in the major venues that have metal. (Club Soda, Metropolis)

but for shows in smaller bars and such, I don't know of any website in particular. I tend to just get emails from various labels that organize some shows. (how I was informed of Blasphemy, Akitsa, Peste Noire etc)
