So guys, I need some "poetic" songs for English. Stuff with actual literary devices we can analyze and stuff. I was looking through most of my music, and a bunch of it is just rhyming and not real poetry. The closest stuff I could find was some Brand New.

Any other ideas? I'm wide open to suggestions.

right now i am studying business marketing but i really want to change to journalism but I can't because i got a 22 on my ACT scores and they want a 23 and i refuse to take that test again.

Vaya: Business is so easy here. The average GPA is a 3.75 or something. But once you're here changing majors is a lot easier so don't sweat it too much, you have to do gen ed first year anyways. Also, look into working at the newspaper/tv station/radio based on your interests, it's a good time.

i already got a job lined up at A&R records basically i find bands for them to sign. i got the job through my uncle he was the drummer of smash mouth and then i met a bunch of connections, sucked a few wieners and got the job...well the wieners part didnt happen

oic, fun stuff. Working for labels seems to be a lot fun from people I talk to.

I still recommend the radio station though fo sho. Being a DJ is lots of fun and it's only 2 hours each week so it's not a big commitment.

that kind of pop-punk is and they seem pretty comfortable playing it
