I don't care about being remembered, I'll be dead. It'll have zero effect on me

I continue to agree with austin
you're agreeing with somebody who's become disillusioned with life and clearly on the downslope of drug addiction

what does that tell you

publicastration 03-01-2011 12:02 AM

now wait. Austin's right though, nothing really has value if you think about it. money is bits of paper, exchanged for mass produced shit in plastic.

RouteOne 03-01-2011 12:02 AM

you know, some pizza places make pizza that is meh at first, but when heated up becomes 5Xs better.

is my microwave an Atlantian artifact capable of making "ok" pizza into great pizza

P13 03-01-2011 12:03 AM

k well then that statement was completely irrelevant to what he said before

adbforever 03-01-2011 12:03 AM
by not being remembered it means you never had an impact on anybody
you really don't care about being important to someone?
I've already had an impact on my brother, I raised him more than my parents did

I'd say most pizza is better the day after

probably the case with all italian food really

P13 03-01-2011 12:04 AM

that didn't answer my question

@ron and jason
what the fuck are you guys talking about? noodles are worse the day after, pizza is soggier the day after, and that's all italian food, isn't it?

RouteOne 03-01-2011 12:05 AM

ugh wish I had some eggplant Parmesan

publicastration 03-01-2011 12:05 AM

really just the flavors maturing.

that's why authentic italian tomato sauces are usually simmered for hours and hours on end.

Jackie Gleason 03-01-2011 12:06 AM

the flavors maturing

lol

RouteOne 03-01-2011 12:06 AM

tomato sauces are better when you sun dry some tomatoes and reduce some tomato sauce for it... just throwing that in there :)
if he is happy, he is happy. like i said before there is no worth, there is no objectivity when it comes to happiness and contentment. i hate to sound like a conspiracy anti-establisment nut, but you're all conditioned into thinking that 4 year degrees and houses on the water mean you're doing "well" in life.
i hate to sound like an idk but you're conditioned into thinking that we're conditioned into thinking that four year degrees and houses on the water mean we're doing "well" in life

seriously though i hope you get over this drug addicted "nihilism" phase and move onto the next one soon for your own sake cuz it's depressing as fuck

Deth 03-01-2011 12:08 AM

because it will allow me to become a civil engineer which I've wanted to do for about 8 years now

plus being in college has been the best 4 years of my life

good enough?

adbforever 03-01-2011 12:08 AM

I answered your question

I've had an impact on my brother and still do

I don't care about anyone else exterior, he's always been a part of my life
someone explain to me why getting a degree makes them happy
I don't care about a degree. I'm using school as a means to develop my skill at cinematography, writing scripts etc, having access to equipment to produce some work.

RouteOne 03-01-2011 12:09 AM

I was happy when I got my BA

I'll be happier when I get my masters and certificaitons next year

publicastration 03-01-2011 12:10 AM

but getting a 2 year degree did give me some feeling of "accomplishment"

for me it's just like, okay I'm done here, moving on to the next stage of my life. and my life has been improving so far so it's something to look forward to.

also I really just want to be able to afford a decent studio in center city philly or new york and have a little money to throw around, and a degree generally helps in that regard.

RouteOne 03-01-2011 12:11 AM

12XU 03-01-2011 12:11 AM

idk im just fucked up right now and sad so ill probably regret all this shit in the morning but yeah

just wanted to lay my feelings down in a stream of thought. its cathartic. i want you guys to know i wasn't trying to disrespect your lifestyle or defame you as people you're all great guys and i'd probably be 10x more depressed if i didnt have you in my life

RouteOne 03-01-2011 12:12 AM

what is the matter

adbforever 03-01-2011 12:13 AM

I need a job

12XU 03-01-2011 12:13 AM

just depression man. its hard to explain... when you're depressed there is nothing that's really wrong in particular its just nothing seems right

i went off my SSRIS which i really shouldn't have so maybe that is why im breaking down right now

RouteOne 03-01-2011 12:14 AM

Do you have access to them now?

Tyler 03-01-2011 12:14 AM

i've been there austin in all seriousness just getting shit out helps a lot.

i'd probably lay off the drugs though, it cant help. if anything you're just going to build a really awful dependency.
