So I just watched an entire Converge concert and they played the song Jane Doe for the first time in forever... was so epic.

Angmar 08-19-2009 12:06 AM

I'll be heading in next week for a math placement test at UW and to hang at martins for a bit.

AA-12 08-19-2009 12:06 AM

meebo.com you asshole

Nostalgia 08-19-2009 12:08 AM

how did he get a dorm... parents?

Angmar 08-19-2009 12:09 AM

He has an apartment not a dorm, and ya his parents lol.

Nostalgia 08-19-2009 12:10 AM

how wealthy are his parents? an apartment in seattle isn't cheap, no matter where you live.

Angmar 08-19-2009 12:13 AM

They aren't really wealthy at all, but his apartment is technically in Shoreline, and it's like 600 dollars a month, it's just a studio though.

Nostalgia 08-19-2009 12:13 AM

oh nice. let's go to dinner dude, i got money now and want some fine ****ing dining.

Angmar 08-19-2009 12:14 AM

lol how fine we talkin here man?

Nostalgia 08-19-2009 12:15 AM

idk 20 bucks a plate, which isn't fine dining but still. aren't you still working.

Angmar 08-19-2009 12:18 AM

I have a work run this week and then I should be off the hook for the rest of the summer. I just am trying not to blow away too much money since I need spending funds for college, but ya 20 bucks is fine.

adb 08-19-2009 12:21 AM

I've never spent that much on one meal

no point at this age

Nostalgia 08-19-2009 12:22 AM

yeah no point in buying higher quality food

AA-12 08-19-2009 12:22 AM

i eat from trash cans

because i am young

adb 08-19-2009 12:23 AM
yeah no point in buying higher quality food
some of what you pay for is non-sense, you're a cook you know what I mean

Nostalgia 08-19-2009 12:26 AM

well yeah, i do. but seattle has a lot of very prestigious restaurants that get top choice meat. i just have a firm belief that 95% of cooks don't really care about the food, it just has to be out and look presentable. most of the time if i drop something on the floor ill scan the area and put it back on the plate.

thats how we do it in the big leagues.

Si1v3RfaNg 08-19-2009 12:29 AM
Sup dudes? I just got back from jamming with that band that invited me to do vox... they were ****ing loud as ****. My ears are still ringing... anyways I found out I can scream over a 3 foot amp at max volume :).

/cool story bro
Gonna re-post this cuz it's cooler than all your stories.

adb 08-19-2009 12:29 AM

that sounds about right, I highly doubt most cooks give a ****. I know I don't.

js I only make 8.25 and hour, once I make like 50k a year or something I'll have the dough to go out and treat myself and/or a girl

until then chain restaurants are even pushing it, fast food for the win

have you seen food inc

adb 08-19-2009 12:50 AM

not yet

anyone who's worked in the food industry knows what's up though

Tyler 08-19-2009 01:44 AM

you only make 8.25 an hour? that's not even minimum wage here :/

adb 08-19-2009 01:51 AM

it's basically min. wage here

and I could do a lot worse, I actually like my job. Watch tv, free food, talk to friends, etc.

Everytime I go in a store or eat I always notice depressed workers around my age

MBS 08-19-2009 02:23 AM

adb, you live in socal don't you? or am i tripping balls
