Perhaps Jelle then?

Jom sent me a message over AIM and I started freaking out. I was in another community thread, and when I checked my User CP, it said "Creating Thread".

I should've listened. :upset:

307, I think.

GRrhf. I wrote out this bunch of stuff about the TRP gig last night and the computer screwed up and is now gone.

Anyway, there were not many people, but I met a lot of them. Chin were awsome. If Blonde Hair Blue Eyes are going to have 2 basses and no guitar, they need effects pedals or some crazy playing to make things interesting, they cant just rely on their singer to freak out, or me to add delay and panning to his voice via the sound board (the sound guy let me on for a bit). TRP sounded good, the sound was clear and that makes all the difference. They played all your favourites, except for The Streets Fell Into My Windows, plus some old songs and some very new ones.

Despite the lack of people, it was a strangely cool night, and I'm going back there tonight to see another band.

You are so underground.

NP: Bob Marley - Stir it up (live)

EDIT: not meant sarcastically :\

If you so desire, here is my latest review: Reckoning Night by Sonata Arctica.

Comment, or you will be the victim of a rabid badger attack.

MBS 11-18-2005 07:12 PM

My friend has the strangest listening patterns. First, he listened to only modern rock, like Green Day, Audioslave, QOTSA, and the Foo Fighters. Then he started listening to nothing but classic rock. Then he listened to metal, then Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance. WTF?

Oh, and everytime he changed musical genres, he's forgotten about everything in the past genre.

I believe you mean eAttack.

I'd like to see you send a fleet of badgers halfway across the country to me while keeping them alive and angry.

blueyxd 11-18-2005 07:13 PM

They're just local bands who supported, I just assumed people would think that. Nothing really underground about it, at least in the way I feel. They are underground because next to nobody has heard of them.

Playing: Coldplay - Don't Panic

ed: to superpeer (the man with the 100 foot urine?)
I'm fairly certain that sending a fleet of Badgers halfway across your country would make them decently angry.

Damn straight, I would hate to have to navigate through NYC.

Wait a second, what does that mean??

Guys, my account is about to be hacked by teh chad because I clicked one of those links on accident.

So yeah, this is probably goodbye because I don't think I'd rejoin after this account gets banned.

Already did.
Why not?
Eh, mx really sucks you in; it's addicting, but I've always realized it was a huge waste of time. And as trivial as it sounds, I wouldn't want to go through that whole noob stage again.

MBS 11-18-2005 07:47 PM
it was a huge waste of time
TBH, I don't think MX is a waste of time at all. I get a lot of new music and I talk to people who actually know about music, unlike the majority of my school. So, you're leaving forever?

Kingofdudes 11-18-2005 07:49 PM

You arent going to be banned for that long..... Oh Well

Actually, you're right.

That was stupid of me to say.

If it wasn't for mx, I'd still be a big metalhead, and I wouldn't be into rap, indie, other rock, and hardcore as much as I am now.

Leper Affinity 11-18-2005 07:55 PM

If it wasn't for mx, I'd be a much better guitarist. For this reason I've pondered leaving for some time, but I don't think it will happen anytime soon. This site distracts me so much that my schoolwork as well as my guitar playing has been afftected, not to mention my parents telling me I spend too much time on the computer.

I'm a funny type: I'm basically a regular, and I go on every day, but there will be long spells every month where I hardly post at all. I think it's good that that happens (although it does little for the endurence of my e-popularity), because then I focus on other things that are important to me.

It's probably why I haven't won R+Mer of the month yet: I'm just never around with enough frequency compared to the others here.

MBS 11-18-2005 08:07 PM

So, the new Harry Potter movie came out. And my teacher is offering 60 extra credit points if you can compare and contrast the movie and the book. I hear that they leave out a lot, so this assignment will be REALLY easy.

Who's running that this year? Schyma?

Leper Affinity 11-18-2005 08:15 PM

I remember that contest. I actually got a few votes last year, which I couldn't believe.

MBS 11-18-2005 08:19 PM

I believe I was in Hawaii when that contest was going on. Came someone give me a link to the results so I can see what went on?

Wait, when is this actually taking place? Reason why I ask for a specific date is because I hope to adopt the same rule as with Vince's RMOTM competition.

Like how? This is gonna be a top 100 list, not a #1 user thread.
