wtf?

I don't want to know how you got there.

Do the Talking Heads count as classic rock? I've heard some arguments, but I don't think so.

Some people say I dress like the 60's every day.

bellbottoms+long hair+Grateful Dead shirt+slightly hi= me
So...Blue Cheer... anyone? :-/
I answered you the first time you asked them awhile ago. They're ok I'm not a fan but I do respect the fact that they were one of the first Hard Rock bands though.

Edit: I've always woundered why the were so hated around the Bay area though.

That's pretty much how I pictured you.

I remember someone in the Comm. thread thought I dressed like either Kanye West or Carlton from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

Yeah, I get up at 6:15 and get to school at 7:15 just so I can talk to friends. And hopefully find the girl I like. School starts at 8 and ends at 2:15. Between that time, I only see her around 1 or if im lucky 2 times. :upset:

Glitterati 09-14-2005 08:59 PM

I might get to do work experience in a musical instrument store. I'd rather work in a cd store, because I know very little about instruments :amaze:

Not really, they were more punk/new-wave. Good music though.

You definitely need to listen t more. One of the most underrated bands, ever.

Ulysses 09-14-2005 09:09 PM

hahaha, big guy ay, I'm relatively tall, 184cm, around abouts 6ft or something like that, not real big though. But I really can't fight to save my life. Recently got roughed up pretty hardcore by a gang of lebanese with my mates because I opened my mouth and said something stupid, copped a few right handers to the head whilst my mate got knocked out cold after a footy match. I think I need to start some self defence classes  .

I still need to see Old School. I hear many good things about it.

I didn't see it for the longest time, but it finally cracked me up; despite people telling me many of the scenes, etc.

Yeah my piano teacher always reccomended them..Maybe I'll check them out sometime soon..

and did someone say something about living in the bay area? as in californias bay area? like monteray...?

If so I use to live around there as well, and will be moving back shortly...
well at least some of us have our heads on straight. it's a start. i'm wanna see some band come along and revitalize the classic rock style...
Thats a good call, I would have to say that Jet are probably the closest to bringing back old school rock, with riffs coming from iggy & the Stooges and BTO. Look like classic rockers, live like classic rockers and sound like classic rockers! :thumb:

Ulysses 09-15-2005 04:47 AM

The Stooges are pretty class, good proto-punk and Iggy Pop is a great stage performer. I'd say Wolfmother are a better classic rock based band than Jet, re-emergence of the power-trio, just without the virtuosity. Some solid, powerful riffs though.

My computer is a bitch about .rar and .mp4

Otherwise, I would have dowloaded it in a second

Walrus Gumboot 09-15-2005 08:41 AM
You can't open it at all? :(
No, but it's kind of a funny situation because people have uploaded it three times, twice in .rar and once in.mp4

I'll get it eventually I'm sure

PinkFreud 09-15-2005 08:43 AM

yeah, right around the time you put a picture of yourself in the mxphotalbum.

PinkFreud 09-15-2005 08:47 AM

yes?

magicbus 09-15-2005 11:05 AM

Bob Saget and I share birthdays.

I'm back on my laptop now, so I'm downloading all those albums. Anybody want an upload?

Seafroggys 09-15-2005 12:03 PM

My aunt, John Lennon, Sean Lennon, and John Entwistle all share a birthday.

That just seems weird.

Illmatic 09-15-2005 12:20 PM

For some reason, my computer won't play zip files...Wired didn't work on it.

PinkFreud 09-15-2005 12:55 PM

did you try to unzip it? weird.

i'll up it in rar if you want.
