what
really weird thing to say fat tire is like smack dab in the middle of the spectrum of available american beers and has lots of company
Ya, there's such a wide variety and so many beers better than fat tire it's clear he just needs to try them. |

i dont really drink beer but amber ales are what i really like and fat tire was one of my first exposures
darker beers are too heavy for me and pale ales (esp IPAs) are just too bitter |
Dogfish Head 60 minute and Sierra Nevada Torpedo are my stand-bys
There's also this ale called "Eye of the Hawk" not sure who makes it, but it's 8% ABV and pretty sweet and delicious. And then stuff like Stone and Flying Dog is always great, but can get kind of expensive |
was an IPA hater until recently, still coming around to them but some of them are maaad good

same here tbh |
I was getting really into porters because they were really dark and sweet and sort of warm, but that might have just been a seasons thing. Once winter ended I started drinking IPAs non-stop and really haven't looked back since.

really into scotch ales lately
|
drinkin a dogfish head raison d'etre
|
drinking old crow, was playing mario kurt with my brother and his lass earlier
|
old crow is pr good stuff for the price
im not drinkin anything |
yeah would much rather have old crow than evan williams or black velvet or some shit
|
dranking some canadian club. it was $10 off when I went to the store. nearly shat myself
|
yeah old crow tastes like a normal bourbon, evan williams tastes like jack daniels and dish soap
i remember black velvet being pretty similar to old crow, but more expensive, i only got it a couple times cause my ex drinks it |
black velvet is pretty gross
one time i brought it to a party and when people asked me what i was drinking and i said "black velvet" they all looked like they were going to puke at the sound of the name |
people act like that about old crow too, part of the reason i drink it
|
yeah at this point i can drink pretty much any whiskey without discrimination
except maybe seagrams, but i guess that wasn't made to drink on its own |
i really just cant deal with evan williams
|
i never minded evan
|
I've never had it, mostly because the name itself leads me to believe it's nothing more than a Jack Daniels ripoff
