TTTSNB 02-20-2008 10:50 PM

Who saw the lunar eclipse tonight?

Win A Rabbit 02-20-2008 10:53 PM

i watched it for the most part.

i was reading at the kitchen table, and every couple minutes i'd look up to see it.

was nice.

TTTSNB 02-20-2008 10:56 PM

Yeah definitely. A friend of mine and I watched it towards it's zenith for several minutes, it was quite awesome.

Sunshine 02-20-2008 10:56 PM

I saw part of it, while hurrying from my nightclass to the dorms 'cause I was cold as a mofo.

So right now my boyfriend's trying to hack into this mystery person's computer using my MSN because if he doesn't, my life will be basically destroyed.
Here's to hoping, huh?

TTTSNB 02-20-2008 10:57 PM

What the hell are they trying to do? You don't need to give specifics.

Seafroggys 02-20-2008 11:01 PM

Your life is destroyed when someone breaks into your bank account or get your SSN, or your house is wiped out by an act of god and you've lost everything.

Sunshine 02-20-2008 11:29 PM

My life is destroyed when someone's blackmailing me with pictures meant for my boyfriend alone, and saying that if I don't send more he'll send them all out.

Static 02-20-2008 11:30 PM

Send them to me.

Sunshine 02-20-2008 11:32 PM

I don't keep copies of the pictures.

Static 02-20-2008 11:35 PM

Doesn't matter, I already own them.

Win A Rabbit 02-20-2008 11:35 PM

tbh, n00ds on internet meant for private use = bad idea.

there's just too many things that can happen.

Sunshine 02-20-2008 11:38 PM

I know. I never wanted to. I've always been scared of this.
I hate my boyfriend sometimes.

personal limits = important.

never ever do something you're not comfortable about when someone asks you to.

Sunshine 02-20-2008 11:47 PM

I know.
I hate it when he gets all pissed at me though.
You have no idea, I can't describe how "Ohhh just a little ______" goes into whatever he wants, and then he gets mad at ME for being mad at him.
I love the boy, I want to be with him forevar, but this kind of **** is going to stop now and if he says one damned thing about it it's over.

Janeway 02-20-2008 11:51 PM

You'll just be another anonymous e-vagina. Unless you're squeezing the disembodied head of Kim Jong-il out of it, nobody is going to care.

See, this is mind-boggling me. You keep on bringing up stuff like that, but then still say you love him dearly. This happens in abusive relationships all the time.

Seriously, if he won't change, its probably for the best that you leave. I understand the comfort zone you probably feel around him, but its not worth it.

Sunshine 02-20-2008 11:59 PM

I know, I know, you're entirely right, but it's true.
I've had him for so long that the thought of him not being there for me to call or hold or whatever, the thought of not talking to him [he said if we break up I can't talk to him for months, and I have to delete all our e-mails and throw out everything he gave me and delete his number from my phone]....I really can't handle that. I just can't.

Seafroggys 02-21-2008 12:03 AM

wait....he's telling you that you have to delete him off your phone and throw away everything he gave you?

Seriously, **** him, the guy's a douchebag. Break up with him, and then DON'T do those things.

ConnectiveTissue 02-21-2008 12:04 AM

Sounds like you'll have to wear the consequences of your actions.

Win A Rabbit 02-21-2008 12:06 AM

tbh it does sound like an abusive relationship.

would be good to talk to someone who knows more about the dynamics than we do, and get their HONEST opinion. if they say leave, leave. no excuses. nobody deserves to be in an abusive relationship, as much as it's been put in your head that it's the best you'll get and that you would be lost forever without him.

Sunshine 02-21-2008 12:11 AM

Whats sad is he tried to help me break up with him this weekend.
He told me I'd be able to find someone else, and he was being really positive about it even though it really really really hurt him to say it and he broke down and couldn't let me go even though he tried breaking up with me really really hard..

And that's the thing. NOBODY knows the dynamics. It's a screwed up, 1/2 way secret relationship that's weird and not normal and there's really nobody I can talk to who'd understand.
One of the problems of moving around so much, nobody knows us and our history.

Janeway 02-21-2008 12:14 AM

Shoujo-ai.

A Dead Modernist 02-21-2008 12:15 AM

Listen to some Girl Talk, it will make you feel better.

Sunshine 02-21-2008 12:16 AM

Don't even know what that is, but thanks?
I bought a CD yesterday, a new comp. (well, new to me anyway), and I've never heard of most of the bands so I think I'll check that out..and not crack open a beer, tempting though it may be.

123.

I've heard that a million times, I agree mostly but it's just so boring when people suddenly think they're an authority on it and need to let everyone know about it.

Hey I have a webcam. That means I'm an authority on what everyone else should believe in.

The only three I recognized were Less Than Jake, NICOTINE and Alkaline Trio, but it's been a pretty awesome mix of ska and music-that-isn't-ska-but-fans-of-ska-would-still-like. Haha. It's called "Mailorder Is Fun," and is sold for $4.

Ah, cool. $4 is good.

Sunshine 02-21-2008 01:06 AM

It really is.
And totally worth the $4, and even more than that, but I wouldn't've purchased it due to lack of fundage if it was much more.

You don't get it.

Things like this are supposed to make one think. Not change their mind.

Free thinkers change their minds by their own accord.

tbh the same old "hey look at this quote from the bible that i misinterpret literally omg you people are so stupid" rants aren't going to make anyone "think".

i'm not a christian, but i believe that of any book to base your morals on, the bible seems a pretty good choice. of course if you take everything insanely literally you're going to come across some questionable things, as with every other option, but if you take it for more than face value and put the slightest bit of thought into the intent of the writing, it's got some great stuff in it that has helped some people greatly.

Seafroggys 02-21-2008 01:24 AM

The problem is, so many people (especially in America) take it far more literally than they should. This is why there's people like this.

Since you are in Canada, you probably don't see that happening. But here in the States, its very worrying.
