jazzfunkboy 09-09-2004 05:41 PM
where can you buy two cds for 20 dollars????? just about every cd i have is atleas 14. maybe its because they are really hard to find cds?
well i like cds that arent new per se, like jaco pastorius stuff. all the classic stuff is cheap.

but alot of cds are 10 bucks around here anyways. even new stuff.

Bass+Fingers+Amp=Groove 09-09-2004 05:42 PM

yo.

jazzfunkboy 09-09-2004 05:43 PM
I have never used ebay
me niether. i like to try stuff before i buy it. what if you buy a bass there and hate it or something is wrong with it? can you return it?

FREAKofNATURE 09-09-2004 05:44 PM

well i listen to stuff even more rare then jaco, i mean like no one has heard of them.

risbo 09-09-2004 05:46 PM

I can't find realy screamo anyware.

jazzfunkboy 09-09-2004 05:47 PM
well i listen to stuff even more rare then jaco, i mean like no one has heard of them.
well really rare stuff is more expensive too. maybe its where you live also. like if you lived in new york, cds are more expensive there than where i live.

FREAKofNATURE 09-09-2004 05:50 PM

well i live in jacksonville and everywhere ive gone there hasnt really been any cds of the bands i like.

jazzfunkboy 09-09-2004 05:52 PM

i really hate that, going into a cd store and not finding somethign that they should have. probably one of the most annoying things ever to me.

i have to go do math homework now :amaze:

PaulSimonon 09-09-2004 05:57 PM

I can never find a band that isn't well known....

ShelBel 09-09-2004 06:15 PM

@ LDTG: Don't feel bad. I just started browsing eBay not too long ago, and just last week a) sold my first item and b) bought my first item.

What annoys me here, is that in most stores you see huge shelfs with the title Metallica, and when you get there it's about metal music, not only Metallica. Go figure figure

FREAKofNATURE 09-09-2004 06:46 PM

well why would you only want metallica?

nisakss 09-09-2004 06:49 PM

^^^^I don't, and that's the point, Metallica is a band name, not a genre. They didn't create it or anything, so it should read: Metal, not Metallica and with the same leter style and everything.

FREAKofNATURE 09-09-2004 06:52 PM

o ok, ya most music store have like 30 copies of every metallica album and even ones that other bands have covered and like 1 cd of the bands i like and 99 percent of the time they arent even there.

Foxfire 09-09-2004 06:57 PM

The music stores here have everything I'd buy...

...except Wooten, Pastorius, and Hamm. :(

Despite living in the 4th richest county in the U.S., my Best Buys are pathetically understocked. When they are, it's just mainstream music that I don't like*. Thats why I eBay or amazon.

*not including JoJo, cause as we all know, she's is super cool

FREAKofNATURE 09-09-2004 07:01 PM

ha ha ha

Foxfire 09-09-2004 07:06 PM

Tommy the Cat is a fuuuuuun song to play.

I need to do more double tapping, though.

FREAKofNATURE 09-09-2004 07:10 PM

Foxfire 09-09-2004 07:15 PM

FREAKofNATURE 09-09-2004 07:21 PM

Foxfire 09-09-2004 07:22 PM

Two hands tapping.

Like playing a piano.

e p 09-09-2004 07:22 PM

All I can gather is that it is indeed "double" tapping as the name implies. Fox so deftly pointed that out.
