well it's not worse than not receiving anything, but flowers and champagne, to me, are really only special gifts inasmuch as they show up at your doorstep unexpectedly
at least i got the delivery fee waived and a free flower upgrade |
what's a flower upgrade?
|
just means they cram more daisies in the pot
|

ya. just seems like such a clearly poor decision for them to have made. oh well
|
woke up stoned. coffee time.
sup mx? |
@ NEEDTOPOST: huh, that's pretty retarded, yeah, but as long as she knows it was meant as a surprise and it was not your fault that the company screwed up, she'll still dig it.
|
its the thought that counts
*cue coos |

From the email I sent the flower company:
I want you to understand the situation: A moment was supposed to pass, soon now, that could never have happened in all the history and can never happen in all the future of all The Universe, because it was going to happen between two people who have never existed before and will never have the chance to exist again. Their existences are unstoppably linear and made up of moments each of which are irrevocable. They will die and the truth of everything that happened before they die will be fixed in time more securely than the truth of existence itself. This moment was not supposed to be made of a grand gesture, but a perfect one, and, I assure you, a very meaningful one. Its composition was simple. It was meant to be experienced just two days from now and was going to be beautiful and it was going to define the lives of two people with whom the greater world is completely unconcerned. The possibility of that moment was flippantly, unchangeably destroyed this morning. People make mistakes, I understand. And people should do their best to make up for them. That's what the daisies were for.
think i'll get a refund? |
Hahahaha, that's fucking great, man.
|
these fuckers have no idea who theyve messed with
when it comes to the right girl ill strap dynamite around my chest |
Gonna watch the first episode of The Walking Dead. Everyone's been talking about it so much and I've always liked zombie films, so I might like this.
It's weird how it seems zombies have become the new hip retro thing lately, though, or am I just imagining things? |
seems like zombies come and go in phases. people will always be attracted to the idea of a mindless enemy which can be murdered in droves without inducing an ounce of guilt. its classic

The surprise element probably guides more than half of their business, don't they understand? |
also, the adrenaline of pure, violent survival, kill or b killed u no?

ya, thats what i said "I'd rather have paid for a single, surprising daisy than what I got: A potentially bothersome phone call holding the secretarial promise of shitty champagne when "it can be ascertained that she's 21"." |
