so i ordered flower and wine to be delivered for a girls 21st as a suprise and the company called her without contacting me first to ask if "she was going to be able to prove her age at the time of delivery"

fuck that, i wouldve rather canceled the champagne than have ruined the surprise, i'm fuckin pissed

oh sh it's not that bad, still a nice surprise.

well it's not worse than not receiving anything, but flowers and champagne, to me, are really only [I]special[/I] gifts inasmuch as they show up at your doorstep unexpectedly

at least i got the delivery fee waived and a free flower upgrade

it's the thought that counts, and she still actually gets to drink the champagne and have the flowers in her house. i would be frustrated in the same position but i really don't think it's gonna be any less exciting and touching for her.
