i have a 16 and 18" HHX stage crash and a 20" AAX stage crash

i need something that will make a smooth transition between the 18 and 20

thanks!
maybe a 19 AAX/HHX Stage Crash...

Heh?

Smartass is Lime.

Drum Phil 09-05-2006 08:46 PM

19" HAX stage crash?

We_Love_Lime 09-05-2006 08:47 PM

Yeah.

I was wondering how I could combine the two..
I realised after 4 seconds that it wasn't worth it.

I'm glad you spent some time and energy into it though.

Drum Phil 09-05-2006 08:50 PM

Time? Theres a forum called Haxed. It took no time

To "hax" something in my town is to steal it.

We_Love_Lime 09-05-2006 08:51 PM

Oh.
Is Post 4388 supposed to be a joke?
Or humourous?

I didn't get it.

Drum Phil 09-06-2006 05:52 AM

Nope its a true story.

Like i said, to Hax something is to steal it. Like if i stole your pen i'd say "haxed"

We_Love_Lime 09-06-2006 06:20 AM

Ahh.

chewaz 09-06-2006 10:32 PM

is it true that the newer paistes tend to crack more often than the older ones??
is it true that the newer paistes tend to crack more often than the older ones??
i sure hope not, i just bought one!

drummguy731 09-07-2006 06:19 PM

ok, paiste sigs, tell me bout them, durability, sound, everything you guys know/feel about them

Chester 09-09-2006 08:05 PM

I think the paiste sig crashes are some of the best out there... sound wise, im sure the durability would be fine.

HeLLmO 09-09-2006 08:07 PM

i've actually heard the durability isn't totally amazing with paistes in general, but i'm sure as long as proper technique and wooden sticks are involved they will be fine

Recommendatin of AAX Hi-Hats?

Drum Phil 09-10-2006 12:43 PM

Stage hats

the secret robot 09-10-2006 07:50 PM

I'm looking for a good crash...I'm embarking on a shoegaze musical adventure and need a new crash fo sho. It pretty much just has to fit in with a 2002 ride...I'm replacing everything else. And do well in a possibly not-very-well miced, very small venue. Kthx.

HeLLmO 09-10-2006 08:00 PM

...maybe a 2oo2 crash? that would definatly fit with a 2oo2 ride. if you don't have that kind of cash, i'd say AAX stage crash or AAXplosion would be good.

Time 09-11-2006 02:56 PM

I've got a 20" K Custom Ride and 14" New Beats. I'm looking for a crash (preferably 18 or bigger) that will compliment that set up, because my 16 XS20 Med thin crash isnt quite doing it for me. i like the paiste sig 18 fast crash, any other suggestions? thanks.

HeLLmO 09-11-2006 03:16 PM

that sounds good, or maybe an A/A Custom/K custom, possibly and AAX Dark Crash, or maybe a nice Meinl Byzance medium crash

Aaron 09-11-2006 07:30 PM

I'd get an 18" K Crash-Ride if you want to keep the 16" in there, if not an 18" HHX Power Crash or Stage Crash

Sabian4015 09-11-2006 10:31 PM

18" A Custom.

Or AAXplosion

Definitely Stage Hats.

Chris 09-13-2006 01:59 PM

Im looking for a splash/small crash.

I want it to be versatile, 'musical' sounding, bright and sort of 'explosive'.

I already have a 12'' UFIP Brilliant (like a A Custom), and a 8'' Stagg SH (real trashy).

I would get a UFIP class, but they are harder and harder to get at the moment.

Any ideas? Im thinking either a 10'' splash (have no idea what type) or a 14'' A Thin? Crash.

HeLLmO 09-13-2006 02:01 PM

AAX splashes are mad versitile. if they may A Custom fast splashes i'd imagine they would be too

We_Love_Lime 09-13-2006 05:29 PM

15 Azuka Crash.
It's like an oversized Splash, very Musical. Very like Buttery...

And maybe like a 16 CIE Vintage or a 14/15 A Fast Crash.

Aaron 09-13-2006 07:44 PM

15" Paiste Traditional Crash maybe? They're pretty subtle

We_Love_Lime 09-13-2006 08:16 PM

Yeah, something small and thin.

Aaron 09-13-2006 09:29 PM

istanbul 14" traditional¿
