Hey i dont know this band very much but i heard there great so can someone tell me like there best 10 songs so i can download them and see what i think?
Just a few of my current favorites:

Stream of Consciousness
the glass prison
In the name of god
under a glass moon
metropoli part 1
caught in a web
space dye vest
ocatavarium
endless sacrifice
pull me under
lie
the mirror

nowitzki 11-04-2005 04:25 PM

Take The Time
The Glass Prison
Metropolis Pt. 1
Fatal Tragedy
Home
The Spirit Carries On
In The Name Of God
Scarred
Learning To Live
Stream of Consciousness

There's 10 songs for you, but there's plenty more awesome material, I'm sure they'll be something you enjoy in there, they're such a varied band.

Sadbutrue16 11-04-2005 04:36 PM

heh been listening to them.. Pretty crazy how one song is like heavy *** riffs and crazy solos...the nthe next song is like slow and accoustic sounds notrhing like the first one. Pretty sweet band though.

Lord Abortion 11-04-2005 04:42 PM

I would also reccommend;

Surrounded
as I am
endless sacrifice
misunderstood
this dying soul
These walls
I walk beside you
under a glass moon (new location, see?)

Lord Abortion 11-04-2005 07:11 PM

James' vocals in BTL are fantastic.
He is the best part of SFAM in alot of places.

Thank you.

I thought some people wouldn't like it because it has a few songs off of 'Octavarium' on there. Not too many hardcore DT fans liked that album. I think it's great. :thumb:

Overall, I think LaBrie is equally as great as the rest of the band. Sure he doesn't have their crazy instrumental talent, but he's voice is amazing.

James is a great singer. I don't get why people rip on him. Y'know? They say stuff like "Dream Theater is awesome, but James totally brings the band down for me." What the hell?
