I got their new album off Metal Depot. It was okay. Wasn't a huge fan of it.
|
They are so cool!

I've been listening to these guys alot lately.[/QUOTE] One of the dudes is in his 50s. |
Hahahaha, yeah I know. That is so f'ucking cool.
|
Bump.
Screamo anyone? Raein, Pg.99, Saetia, Comadre, Funeral Diner, Waifle, Swing Kids, Song of Zarathustra, and Joshua Fit for Battle are all great. |
My favorite is City of Caterpillar.
Also: Khayembii Communique Mesa Verde June Paik Ampere Circle Takes The Square A Day In Black and White Envy (Sometimes) Hot Cross I Have Dreams In Tongues Olive Tree Love Like... Electrocution Love Lost But Not Forgotten Neil Perry (Sometimes) Off Minor Sailboats Orchid Staircase Yaphet Kotto word. |
I can't stand the guy from City of Caterpillar's voice. Therefore, I don't like City of Caterpillar. CTTS, Envy, Ampere, Neil Perry, Off Minor, Orchid, and Yaphet Kotto are all good, though. Envy's interludes are funny because they're in Japanese.
|
I hate the term "screamo" but I dig...
Ampere Takaru Kaospilot Shikari Raein Gospel Union of Uranus Palatka Saetia Hot Cross (somewhat) Dodewaard A Light in The Attic Dohrn The Spirit of Versailles Orchid Pg. 99 Jerome's Dream Heroin I Wrote Haikus About Cannibalism in Your Yearbook Neil Perry Love Like... Electrocution Sinaloa That is pretty much it. You guys listed some bands that I like but don't consider emo, such as Love Lost But Not Forgotten and Swing Kids. |
Damn. I love screamo but don't have enough. I'm going to start looking some of these bands up.
|
Jerome's Dream
Pg. 99 Kaospilot Joshua Fit For Battle Neil Perry Comadre Love Like...Electrocution Orchid Ampere The Khayembii Communique Yaphet Kotto Swing Kids Saetia Those is my favorites. |
Khayembii Communique is my favorite emo band followed by La Quiete
|
La Quiete is pretty solid.
Really digging Mesa Verde and June Paik right now. |
Most everything yo guys have named that I hadn't heard of, I looked up, and it's almost all hella sick.
|
I'm not sure if they are screamo, but I also like I Have Dreams and You And I.
|
Damn you guys use the term screamo pretty loosely.
|
Check out:
Honeywell Neil Perry Hassan I Sabbah Usurp Synapse Encyclopedia of American Traitors Wolves Majority Rule Waifle Book of Dead Names Jeromes Dream |
Anyone got some Encyclopedia of American Traitors they wanna send me? I only have the song Lineage, but that song is ****in' nuts, so I want more.
EDIT: Scratch that, I found their discog and their split with Orchid on slsk. They are super good, though. |
You guys should check Sailboats out. I only know of a 4 song demo but it's sick. Behind Trees is such a good song.
|
What kind of music is Sailboats?
|
I've had that demo on my comp for a day or two now, and I haven't listened to it until now, Pretty sick.
They're kinda melodic screamo. |
Just checked them out, and Behinds Trees is a really sweet song.
|
They get weird sometimes, though. 53 Second Song is weird.
|
The intro to Behind Trees was a little long and drawn out, but I still enjoyed it.
|
Glad you fellas liked 'em.
|
I'm glad you said something about them.
|
I felt it was my duty, good sir.
|
Dang, Ethan sent me loads of good screamo.
Envy is so f'ucking epic. Even though all their lyrics are in Japanese. |
Envy is good.
|
Yeah, Envy's tight.
We should force them to make the listening party a screamo band. Saetia, or maybe Raein. |
anyone here like 1905? They're freakin awesome. Much better than i would set myself on fire for you
