thats not important AND your just a liverpool fan so i couldn't care less
You really hate Liverpool fans don't you? The only thing I don't like about Liverpool in general is the accent (and safety first football).
my uncle made a joke about the munich air crash earlier in the pub and me and my brother were meant to be giving him a lift home but we just walked out and drove home so he had to walk about 5 miles. that should learn him for joking about something like that
how can you justify this when: http://www.sputnikmusic.com/forums/showpost.php?p=15092534&postcount=14414 |
this evening i payed £5.20 for a double gin and tonic in a pub
liek WHAAAAT
uuurrrgggghhhhh i'm hung over to hell and you're not helping. my local pub is shutting down, so they're selling off all the booze cheap so i can't remember how i got home last night. all i know is i've got to work in an hour and a half and i'm still a bit drunk . |

|
That joke maybe wrong but I chuckled then felt bad.

Football does matter !!
It's the closest thing I have to a religion. |
football is meh.
I mean, yeah its ok to watch every now and agian, but i dont get the obsession over it. Like the other day, someone at work asked me if i had baught the man u top, and he was in shock when i told him i dont care for football, and if i did, i would not support man u. True mancunians are blue, not red. Where as i don't care, if i did support anyone itd be Liverpool, i care for them most and i want them to win everything. |
True mancunians are blue, not red.
... if i did support anyone itd be Liverpool
GTFO out of Manchester Thats like being a Christian and liking Satan more than Jesus |
GTFO out of Manchester
Thats like being a Christian and liking Satan more than Jesus
Its k, im moving in 5 weeks. the latter statement is also true. And you know my stance on football teams anyway. |
I was born a boro supporter and I will die one. I'm getting the club badge tattooed on me as well.
|
I would say Boro were my English team.
I'm a Motherwell man through and through though. |
I support Inverness and Celtic in the SPL. There the teams my grandparents support so thats why.
|
Inverness eh.
2-1 Easy Easy. |
I was well gutted at that. 2 frigging goals in the last 5 minutes. Looks like it'll be a good title race as well.
|

The atmosphere was one of the best I've ever been to. I can still see Celtic edge it this year though. Have to love the realism in Football Manager http://i17.tinypic.com/6excsxe.jpg |
They should have a season where Celtic and Rangers are in the English premiership. See how they fair up against those teams, they seem to have it pretty easy in the SPL.
|
Hearts challenged 'em a few seasons ago, but they have the disadvantage of having an owner who's a complete lunatic and wants to pick the team. Celtic and Rangers would probs finish top 6 I reckon.
However if you take them out of the SPL then the league will lose so much revenue I believe. |
The league would lose much TV revenue and the Scottish game would go into decline.
Other than that I would love to see a wee team challenge for the title. |
Integrating the leagues would just be a horrible idea. Plus, we already get to see how Rangers and Celtic do against the English teams in the Champs league and UEFA cup
|
i dont see why terrorists dont target football games
we'd all be winners then |
Hardly.
Its the national sport and although it's been ruined slightly with the physical element almost being taken out no other sport compares to Football. Boxing is my next favorite sport. |
nothing gets people together and gets people passionate about anything more than football, much more so than religion

True mancunians are blue, not red.
sorry this is just stupid "true mancunians support losers because it proves they're tr00 fans" It's like saying real metalheads would listen to yngwie malmsteen
i dont see why terrorists dont target football games we'd all be winners then
I laughed, felt bad, and then laughed again. |
I'm torn as to what my favourite sport is.
I've been getting into football a lot more over the past few years, and I've always supported Liverpool as long as I can remember, always kept an eye on how they're doing. Rugby however, I played for like 14 years before I had my operation. At the moment I'm slacking off on keeping up with the league, but I'm still a Tigers fan through and through, thanks to my Dad. UFC I've only got into in the past year really, so I'm still enthusiastic as hell about it. We'll see how time changes that, but I can't see myself disliking it at all any time soon. I've got to say rugby, it's just a great sport. |
nothing gets people together and gets people passionate about anything more than football, much more so than religion
MUFC The Religion
Quoted For Truth. It allowed me to bond with me dad. I love playing and watching rugby tho' and I've good at both really. Just prefer watching football. Although ruby internationals are always good and I'll be watching the World Cup. |
sorry this is just stupid
"true mancunians support losers because it proves they're tr00 fans" It's like saying real metalheads would listen to yngwie malmsteen
I dont think he meant it that way. I think it was intended as Utd are technically in Salford, whereas City are actually in Manchester. I used to watch rugby, and cricket, but the American versions (american football and baseball) are sooooo much better |
Plus southerners support Utd. There summat wrong with that.
|
It's because it's a retarded mentality. Support who the hell you want. I support Liverpool because my mum does, and because of that I always ended up watching Liverpool games over any other games.
Same with Rugby, I support Leicester because my Dad is from there and consequently all I ever read about or watched was Tigers games. |
Yeah, you should be able to watch who you want. Its just that 99% of people who dont support their local team are glory hunters. Thats why you have United fans across the country, then all of a sudden Chelsea shirts appeared everywhere. I remember a few years back when Real Madrid won the Champions League - Manchester city centre suddenly turned into Madrid
|
I've never agreed with supporting a team just because they're successful. But if people want to then who am I stay different.
|
Oh, switching your allegiance to support the most successful team, I don't approve of that at all.
But you should be able to support who you want. |
eugh glory hunters! im surrounded by them up here! im a Geordie myself...although stuck in Glasgow these days having to listen to nothing but rangers celtic arguments, and with all the irish around, its all Man U (no idea why all irish folk support Man U) however im enjoying the fact there doesnt appear to be any Chelsea fans here :)
