I sually write basslines that are different from the guitar. The newest song my band recorded has me following the guitar through most of it though.

They're more durable, ie. if/when you drop it, odds are it's not going to break, unlike and iPod. It's only $200 for 30 gigs, when you're probably paying about $250 for an iPod with only 20 gigs. And you can get 40 gigs for somewhere around $230-$240. The only down is basically that it's slightly bigger than an iPod, and that you have to use a scroll wheel, which doesn't seem as cool as a touch wheel.

Yeah, we hotboxed this kid's car and he got ****ed up and refused to drive. So we walked to Dunkin Donuts and got 50 munchkins and I got a Mint Choc Chip shake. I got a 20 gig iPod for Christmas last year, but it could even hold half my music, so I upgraded to a 60 gig a few months ago and gave the 20 to my brother.
