Speaking of people saying people are idiots for saying things that are true -- someone on this forum told me I was an idiot for saying that steel was an alloy of iron and carbon.
Maybe they played Runescape.
On Runescape steel is 1 iron ore and 2 coals.

Well, coal does have quite a bit of carbon in it, so they were kind of close to right.

It'd be a little more like 250 iron and 1 coal though.

TTTSNB 11-19-2006 02:59 PM

Morning MX....or is it....afternoon? Haha.

SparBZ 11-19-2006 03:03 PM

Buy that Pulse set. I would gig on that... If I was playing the Wiggles.

And idk what it is, TTTSNB but Morning.

Loser 11-19-2006 03:04 PM

I think I'm a Steely Dan addict.

maniac0796 11-19-2006 03:10 PM

Steel will have a small deposite of carbon in it.... But the coke is generally used to purify the iron ore. It creates slag ontop the ore, which is tapped off. the slag is then used to make roads...

maniac0796 11-19-2006 04:05 PM

Aaron 11-19-2006 07:48 PM

Do you think it's too much to ask for a TDK-3 for my xmas and 21st? I'm willing to put in money as well..

Loser 11-19-2006 07:50 PM

I guess it depends on your family's money situation. For many families, it would be over doing it. For many more families, it would not.

Aaron 11-19-2006 08:04 PM

Well my brother got a return ticket to vietnam for his birthday, but he has to get together the spending money. I'd be willing to put in a fair chunk of money [ie $500AU out of the $1700AU]

Janeway 11-19-2006 10:03 PM

The most expensive thing I've gotten for christmas was $300. That was my PSP.

This year I'm only asking for pajamas and bedding.

I want my room to be as comfortable as the womb.
