Anyone know good melodic vocal'd bands like Ignite? Some kid on B9 posted his bandm which is pretty damn good.

Some dude on B9 called it a "dramatic/operatic vocal style". I want to hear bands like this, besides Ignite.

The new With Honor is similar to Ignite, except not anywhere near as good.

I don't like the new With Honor. The new Ignite is pretty tasty though. Is Ignite's old stuff any good?

Yeah, while I do think A Place Called Home is their best the other stuff is good too. Call On My Brothers and Past Our Means are very good. The song Embrace rules.

I enjoy With Honor and Ignite both.

With Honor's kind of meh for me...I'm still undecided as to whether or not I like them.

I like With Honor's old stuff, but not the new stuff.

I like it all. Really, it's not that much different, except he uses a bit more clear vocals. I don't know why everyone dislikes it.

Because the music is a lot different and his voice shouldn't even be considered his voice it's that over produced.

He sounds exactly like the album live. The new album is a bit spazzy in the guitar work, but I like that. I listen to both albums frequently and can't really tell a huge difference, othe rthan the older album being heavier and rougher.

That's a reason why I like the older stuff. And what Reiner said about the new stuff being over-produced.

Ah, oh well. They sounded exactly like the album when I saw them though. It was one of the best shows I've been to.

Hey guys, just wanted to see if you guys have heard of a band called A Plea for Purging. They are quite good from what I've heard so far and they're on tour with Still Remains and Demiricious right now.
Anyways, my band is playing a show with them in June at a place called The Electric Ballroom in Knoxville(TN), where I live.
