i never got why people like mortal kombat. the only reason i can think of is the fatalities which don't add any thing to the gameplay. the fighting mechanics are really shallow compared to most fighting games (especially capcom ones.) it's all flash and no substance. marvel vs capcom, king of fighters and street fighter are all infinitely better. basically it's a game for fighting game noobs who just want to see people's heads chopped off and don't care about gameplay

mortal kombat II is my favorite. I'll play it occasionally I can do some fatalities and shit but idk I don't really have that much fun with it.

I love street fighter II and III though and the alpha series is pretty good too. Those games just have such better controls and a wayyyy deeper fighting system. Marvel vs. capcom 2 is great also.

zorro has qualms.. be prepare fotressses

who care about controls and deep fighting systems when you can be a ninja and rip peoples spines out or be a cyborg and destroy the entire planet
