All my nieghbors and I would like go over to one person's house every saturday night to watch SNICK and stuff...

A-Life-Less-Plagued 04-02-2006 07:04 PM

Damien, listen to CIV, H2O, Ignite, In My Eyes, the Movielife and Set Your Goals.

I still think you're a fr00t though.

Special Brew 04-02-2006 07:04 PM

I used to watch that show too. The opening video thing freaked me out when I was little, but I got used to it eventually.

whiteminority 04-02-2006 07:06 PM
SNICK was the ****.

Remember the episode with the ghost that haunted that bike? Or the gremlin in those photos of that "haunted" camera? Or the prank phone call one? Or the one where that nerdy dude loved computers and some computer dude was going to get him and he had a chip in his hand?

Good times...vintage Nickelodean was amazing.

-Gav
Coolest episode ever, kid moves to new house and storm cellar is evil and so the kid feeds people he doesn't like to the cellar and the cellar gave him money and like a mountain bike.

cbmartinez 04-02-2006 07:07 PM
Seriously, I'd come home from school every day and watch this show.

I've never really been comfortable swimming at night or alone since the episode with that mummy thing in the pool.
Hahah, I remember this. The one that freaked me out the most was "The Night Shift" where the hospital got taken over by some vampires or something. I remember just being scared shitless. I remember the episode too with the typewriter and when you typed stories the stories came to life.

Special Brew 04-02-2006 07:07 PM

Oh damn, I remember Pete & Pete very vaguely now. I recognize the intro thing really.

bottlerocket 04-02-2006 07:11 PM

Holy crap, I didn't know The Movielife, H2O, and SYG were POSI...:amaze:

Yeah, Snick's the best...I remember the basement one.

-Gav

cbmartinez 04-02-2006 07:13 PM

The Movielife is pop punk rofl

he asked for poppy bands, either way i don't see how they're not "posi", at least H2O and SYG

NewKindofArmy03 04-02-2006 07:14 PM

I used to love Are You Afraid of the Dark? I can't remember any episodes though haha.

bottlerocket 04-02-2006 07:15 PM

hardcore influence. they're kinda like Saves The Day like that.

cbmartinez 04-02-2006 07:16 PM

I never subscribed to that hardcore influence thing. I don't think either have enough to give them hardcore influence, even with Can't Slow Down.

bottlerocket 04-02-2006 07:16 PM

I think Saves the Day have more of a hardcore influence than The Movielife...listen to the album Ups and Downs by STD and you'll see what I mean...

-Gav

Luxor 04-02-2006 07:18 PM

STD is the shit

cbmartinez 04-02-2006 07:18 PM

It's just hardcore kids trying to find a reason for why they all love Saves The Day so much. They're pop-punk through and through.

bottlerocket 04-02-2006 07:21 PM

Even if STD is pop punk through and through I still love them. Chris is a genius.

I still see a hardcore influence, though...

CIV, H2O, SYG, and Ignite are all great.

I'll check out the others.

40 oz 2 freedom 04-02-2006 07:39 PM

It's Go Time by the Movielife has quite a hardcore influence, I think.

I love talking about all these AYAOTD? episodes. Remember the one where the kid is supposed to buy his mom a present but he buys that clown viceo game instead?

Matt? 04-02-2006 09:20 PM

the only one i remember is when they are like in a house where the mirrors make them really old and theres some guy feeding off their age or soemthing

this may have been a goosebumps episode though

they both were way too scary for me

NewKindofArmy03 04-02-2006 09:28 PM

Goosebumps was awesome too. That used to be the only book I read.

40 oz 2 freedom 04-02-2006 09:32 PM

I had Goosebumps t-shirts.

Yeah, I'm already a fan of them too.

DaveToopes 04-02-2006 10:27 PM

The only AYAOTD episode I can remember is the one with the vampire in the movie theater.

Special Brew 04-02-2006 10:58 PM

In My Eyes is pretty friggin' sweet.
