Ignore this post.
A statue in the shadow of Apocolypse and Heritics Crumbles under the weight of the godforsaken politics That with humiliation and antiquation Let's it stand through the cold that only night could bring May the sinners lay down their sins While still, those righteous cliches bleed in To the heart of where decrepit hearts relate And to the all seeing sky of the failing house of Fate. From Pandemonium to pain Let your demons sing down through the flame Creating yet one more un-bearable bane For you to deal with when your judgement comes again [Breakdown-Spoken] For thou shalt not sin, lest Ye wish for hell [Rawrrrrr!!!] Through the circles of hell and down to the bottom Where "Et tu Brutus" still echoes To where the traitors and mutineers Continue their unending attempt at Prayer The cold and torment brought by the deepest circle of hell Known by few yet feared by all Continues on While the rest of hell still waits for the ruling autonomy Devised by the Divine Comedy ------------------------------------------------------- A letter to the editor Of barricades and banners Those souls that you reaped as your own Come back for the destruction Of the propaganda that this manifesto doth loan To all of those made souless by your still confortable home. To turn about and face the machine Means to look toward the desicration of the minds redeemed Yet as cogs in this machine of misguided persistance Our qualities in coffers and our souls sequesterd Supplies the ceaseless Sarcophagus That breathes through the fires of this burning mass. Through the flames in the eyes Of the sinners and sighs While with the unending fluxuation of lies Comes the truth of a holocaust That in order to create Something of equal value must be lost And still what a world it is That the most sane among us Lie in the walls of the prisions with which we segregate The "criminals" from the rest of society so that we can regulate The amount of demons that we reveale So that our own demos can be safely concealed Still what can the normal person do When the flames and cogs of the machine still continue And the workers Unabaided and forever jaded Tick along with the clicks of the other's ticks Until the world starts to realize its growing ever more sick |

Fall Out Boy Interpol the Arcade Fire Panic! At the Disco.
When I saw your other post, I guessed what five bands you would like and I was completely right. |
cleveland is mad lame
word. i got my coat stolen/lost at the venue last night in Cleveland BUT Brand New, Kevin Devine and Manchester Orchestra put on one sexy sexy show. |
I'm not a huge fan of Brand New's new CD. It's alright, but the songs all pretty much sound alike. Deja is still their best CD in my opinion.
I'm going to see Explosions in the Sky on May 4th. That should be cool, I havent been to a concert in awhile. |
Seth, you blasphemer. The new CD is divine.
I'm jealous that you're seeing Explosions in the Sky. I'd definately enjoy that. |
Deja is still their best CD in my opinion.
Seth ftw. |
the Arcade Fire
YES!!!! dang the arcade fire are so awesome. |
I don't think I'd like EITS live.
|
Recorded a cool song today..I'm going to get my friend to send it, and then upload it and get some opinions.
|
I've heard EITS is incredible live, so I'm definitely looking forward to it.
Oh and Jesus Christ is probably my favorite Brand New song ever, but other than that, the rest of the songs on the new CD range from "meh" to "it's ok". |
Degausser>JC
|
I'm quite touchy about the new Brand New.
It doesn't do much for me, aside from Luca. Subterranean Masquerade is probably my favorite new band at the moment though. |
I think it's funny how much I see people saying the new BN was so same-y, but yet everyone has a different song they like best.
|
I think that's why everyone's got a different song. Because everything is sooo much alike that there's no songs that much better than others. They're all in my opinion at about an average level, Luca standing just slightly above.
|
But if everything's about the same, shouldn't there just be one that stands above all the others?
It doesn't make sense that it's all the same and yet everyone likes something different. |
But if everything's about the same, shouldn't there just be one that stands above all the others?
It doesn't make sense that it's all the same and yet everyone likes something different.
I just think that it actually is all alike almost completely. And so everyone has these varying tastes that really brings out one song slightly more than another. Diagram time. EDIT: Diagram's fail. |
I can see the argument you're trying to make but I disagree with it.
Which is not to say I found the album very diverse. I just think they did a few things quite well on different songs. On the other hand I can't force myself to write 2 same-y sounding songs to save my life =\ |
I dunno man :p
I just really found the album to be average anyways. It wasn't anything special to me. |
I just love the tone on the guitar in Jesus Christ. The guitar is really all that makes that song stand out to me. That and the song just has a nice groove with the drumbeat and the quiet-loud thing.
There are some other songs on the album I like, just nothing spectacular. And Degausser bores the hell out of me. |
You bore the hell out of me
|
Oh....meesa sad :(
|
k so bens going to leeds yeah

hahaha nm really, just ordered my leeds ticket :thumb: sup4 u bluhd |
I've been invited to Download by my friend, but I'm not sure if it's worth it considering I like about 2 bands on the line-up atm. Saosin have self-confirmed apparently, but still, it's like £145. I'm going to Leeds anyway.
|
Who's the stand-outs in the line up.
Linkin' Park and MCR headlining seriously wtf. |
Brit festivals have been dropping in quality lately.
|
Smashing Pumpkins
Fall Out Boy Interpol the Arcade Fire Panic! At the Disco.
wait when are you going to list five good bands |
Brit festivals have been dropping in quality lately.
Yeah but Panic! are playing Leeds, which means bottle to the head of the singer part 2. |
