Yeh, going into studio in early 2005; theyve got something like 50 hours of demo tapes to work their way through.

Are we really looking forward to a new album? Do you think they actually know St. Anger sucks?

I'm looking forward to a new album. I don't care if it sounds exactly like St. Anger. It's still interesting either way. Mind boggling how they made such a weird transition.

i agree im just hoping they do a better job on this next album cuz it semmed like st anger was thrown together with a bunch of rhythm parts and fast drumming. next time i hope theres more solos none th eless im suree well be pleased

Exactly Inkybus Mop Or Rtl Would Be So Much Better Than St Anger. The Only Thing I Would Care About Is If They Put Together At Like The Last Minute And Dont Put Any Thought Into It. Example The Black Album Was Not My Favourite But They Really Put Their Heart Into That Album Adn It Sold Sooooo Good.

I think i speak for the British fans in saying that we want them to tour England especially when they managed to tour every other country in europe doing multiple gigs in each country

i know how you feel i live in toronto canada wich is one of the biggest places here so i have no clue why they wouldnt wanna be here. have you ever been to a metalica concert yet though??

another thing that seems to bug me is how the always end up in l.a or sandiego or texas in their north american tours

I'm really looking foward to the new 'tallica cd, i wanna hear what rob has to offer. he has a very interesting history on music. but don't xpect a "return to the roots" they already said they wanted to put those days behind them....but you can also forget another st. anger...they always change from cd to cd so....we'll be waiting for better days...[i don't think st. anger sucks in fact i like it a lot...like all 'tallica cds]. we'll just have to wait!

I'd like to hear the new one, as well.

Everyone says, I hope for another MoP, or RTL. Guys , thers a 1% chance this will happen. Why? because James isnt fueled by alcohol and just trying to make it into the business to write good stuff. I'd say at best, AT BEST, another black album

they probably wont return to their classic times
1. james voice is not butt-slashing, head ripping anymore
2. i doubt that rob is better than cliff burton or at least newsted
3. theyre turning into some lazy old farts weho care more about money than music....i wish they could put their heart into it more

hey. i used to h8 metallica but then again iv never really hers them. n ppl rave on about them all the time so i brought one of their albums yesterday n OMG i love them! its like now i dont get ppl that hate them. u all suk n no u shulnt be in here if u dont like metallica. metallica rule.yeh fuels awesome!

I'm from England and I've seen Metallica live three times. Not over the years but twice this year and december last year.

ive noticed that sanitarium and one are very similar

1. they both begin with a soft, accoustic (or clean electric?) intro

2. the verses are accoustic and the choruses are distorted

3. there are 2 verses and 2 choruses

4. after each chorus is sort of a little accoustic solo

5. after the 2nd chorus the rest of the "second" part of the song begins, which is all distorted

6. there is a part with words during the "second" part of the song
(in sanitarium its "fear of living on..." and in one its "darkness, imprisoning me...")

7. after the words is the main solo

8. the song ends with the same riff repeating a few times, only in sanitarium there is also that high-pitched thingy at the very end

anyone who thinks metallica sucks, is ummm... ignorant, because metallica is a bunch of very talented musicians that have had years and years of experience in the industry, I admit that thier old stuff is better than the more recent stuff like Load and The Black Album, mainly because I think all the drinking greatly effected their music, I am not saying those albums I mentioned suck or anything, I think they are great, I just like the older stuff better

COB SUCKS!!! mainly because they are so SATANIC, the only thing they ever sing about is being the anti-christ and the devil, I think they need to become less ignorant, and metallica is great, hate St. Anger though because it sucks so much
