FREAKofNATURE 09-09-2004 04:45 PM

Canadian or what?

My teacher says there is this teacher down town from where he is that charges $20 CDN and my teacher says he alot of his students are better than him
The guy downtown is a goof

PaulSimonon 09-09-2004 04:50 PM

I have to try out..... it sucks, and I'm up against a decent bassist too....

ShelBel 09-09-2004 04:50 PM

Time to get dinner ready... Ya'll have fun without me. I'll be back later. :D

e p 09-09-2004 04:50 PM

Too bad I moved here over the summer (my dad lives here, mom lives in Springfield[IL]) so I know roughly 5 people since the start of the school year. I barely get time to talk to girls. I don't really know any either. And homecoming is in 3 weeks.
/end pity rant

Good luck with the ladies :thumb:

FREAKofNATURE 09-09-2004 04:50 PM

that would suck to have a student better then you.

Lay_Down_The_Groove 09-09-2004 04:52 PM
that would suck to have a student better then you.
ya it would unless the student was a god but then he wouldn't be taken lessons

american. you can buy two cds or a dvd or a new pack of strings or a shirt or lunch/dinner/breakfast with 20 bucks.

its alot of money for a lesson, but like i said its worth it to me. if i had a job and id even pay for it myself (my parents agreed to pay for them for me).

Which is worse: Repeated rejection, or not knowing them in the first place? contemplate this....

jazzfunkboy 09-09-2004 04:54 PM
that would suck to have a student better then you.
yeah it would... yoiu couldnt teach him/ her. if that happened to me id either be like "wow im a great teacher" or id cry.

jazzfunkboy 09-09-2004 04:54 PM

not knowing them. deffinatly. id rather be rejected than be an actual reject.

Freak: EBAY

it's a godsend.

FREAKofNATURE 09-09-2004 05:01 PM

i dont trust people on ebay, and if they did happen to have any cds of the bands i listen to they would probably be all scratched up.

e p 09-09-2004 05:05 PM

That's why you only check their feedback if it's positive.

Plus a lot of companies make their money by selling fresh-from-the-factory cds at a
low price. Most of them are unopened even.

Consider the people who buy basses from there. Ebay is pretty trust worthy.

FREAKofNATURE 09-09-2004 05:10 PM

what companies would those be?

Lay_Down_The_Groove 09-09-2004 05:11 PM

I have never used ebay

Foxfire 09-09-2004 05:12 PM

Home companies.

eBay wtfpwns.

e p 09-09-2004 05:15 PM
