Dude, it's going to own. That was an incredible setlist they played in NJ. Have fun.
I sure will...just pure headbanging and screaming along with the songs XD

I just wonder why my cousin is taking so **** long to reply back...frickin' SBC email x_x

LordDargon 12-17-2004 06:47 AM

Roar, enjoy yourself.

SLATANIC-666 12-17-2004 02:32 PM

Whoever said that I hadn't made a bad purchase when I mentioned I'd ordered Live Kreation couldn't be more right. It owns for quantity alone but the fact that it's also high grade thrash metal makes it fucking superb. I just love it how it's taken from loads of different shows on the VR tour '02. There seems to be loads of appearances from other thrashers on it too, Gene Hoglan- Dark Angel, Eric Petersen- Testament, Sodom, Snake - Voivod and there were others, Angela Gossow :naughty:
On the special features there was a sort of video timeline of them, early clips of them around the Endless Pain, Pleasure to Kill era, I believe it contains most or all of their videos.
Anyway for those of you who don't have it, I advise you to get it, any means possible :thumb:

LordDargon 12-17-2004 02:54 PM

How orgasmic are the solos on Sepultura - Hungry. I command you all to listen to it now and headbang in unison, raising horns towards the sky in a blasphemous salute to the awesome devastation of THRASH METAL!

NP: Sepultura - Hungry

Which album is it on? I've never listened to much Sepultura.

Shred Danson 12-17-2004 02:56 PM

And is that a Krisiun reference in your user title, Dargon? I can't believe I've finally found another Krisiun fan...

EDIT: oops, brain's scrambled.

They are very good as are a lot of solos on the BTR album, Andreas Kisser is/was a very underrated guitarist :thumb:

Yes, the mighty Krisiun, Leaders of the Black Hordes! the most hate-spewing, blaspheming, christraping death metal band around! \m/

I've only had it like that for a month and a half :p

Sounds pretty good, may have to check it out :thumb:

I don't think that there is any difference regarding the playlist on what's called the 'Concertfilm', except that on the DVD Flag of Hate and Tormentor are Special Features.
But also on the special features there are a lot of their videos over the years, e.g. Toxic Trace, Betrayer, People of the Lie, Terrorzone and Violent Revolution. Plus a running timeline showing them from like 82-84 - Present, man they look so young(in '82-84).
Probably the only downside is, and it's quite a big deal really, is that on the little sticker they put on the front of the DVD case they spelt THRASH wrong  ,when will they learn? Probably when Dargon has finished beating them whilst shouting 'It's THRASH not TRASH!!!!! AAARRRGGHHH! GGGRRRR!!!' :naughty:
Anyways, I advise you to get it, you won't regret it :thumb:

Apocalyptic Raids 12-18-2004 05:47 AM

i must track that dvd down some time, ive been meaning to for ages.

metal-militia 12-18-2004 05:53 AM

Can't find it on the internet :upset: O well, looks like im going to search through the shops. I'd rather get the DVD becuase it has Tormentor as a special feature, and that song is one of the best Kreator have done :)

RavenousMetalist87 12-18-2004 10:35 AM

The Slayer show last night kicked major ***...I was just screaming out the lyrics the whole time and headbaning along XD

I really enjoyed them more last night rather than at Ozzfest. Must've been that I had better seats.

sensitiveorgan00 12-18-2004 11:50 AM

You had seats? Pussay. :p
Did play Necrophiliac and At Dawn They Sleep?

RavenousMetalist87 12-18-2004 11:58 AM

I was like "HOLY ****" when they started they went straight into the intro for Hell Awaits.

metal-militia 12-18-2004 12:03 PM

Mandatory Suicide
Bloodline
Fight Till Death
Hell Awaits
Chemical Warfare

Try Play.com, it's relatively cheap, like £12.99 I think I paid. It didn't take that long for delivery either :thumb:

metal-militia 12-18-2004 07:58 PM

^^

I thought they only did the CD, but i'll look out for that, thanks :)

I'm definately getting that. Overkill NEVER disappoints, aside from I Hear Black.

Anus Invader 12-18-2004 11:54 PM

Hey, I want to get into Dew-Scented, and I'm downloaded almost the entire Inwards album, but before I listen to it and get a first impression, is this a good album of theirs? Is it a good representation of their style? I don't wanna hear something I don't like and dismiss them if it's their worst album or something.

Apocalyptic Raids 12-19-2004 02:45 AM

sorry mate, ive never heard any dew scented before

I don't know where you got that idea from, I'm guessing advertising, I think you can even get games consoles from there and you can certainly get DVDs :thumb:

I haven't listened to them... I'm leery of new, new-school thrash. I always equate new music the critics call "new thrash" with either Pantera, Shadows Fall or (can't think of a band playing this style) - (Metalcore, Groove Metal or Gothenburg-influenced thrash)

I meant I thought they only did the CD version of Live Kreation. I know they sell other stuff :p

LordDargon 12-19-2004 10:40 AM

So, we need a new topic. More thrash trivia, anyone?

This legendary thrash band released a song called "The Past Reborns the Storms". Looks like they missed English class.

RCA 12-19-2004 11:15 AM

^^^Looks like they're Sepultura.

EDIT: More trivia. This great, legendary drummer's first band was Wargod. Pretty easy question.

sensitiveorgan00 12-19-2004 11:22 AM

Gene Hoglan?

FatalEnergy 12-20-2004 12:52 AM

WOAH.!!!!!!!!!! First post in like a month.....I've been really busy getting my own band together. We play Progressive Thrash ..........we arent even really a full band yet, but we are hoping to get our remaining memebers and go record our demo. we have 3 songs right now, so in the future look for a band called Final Heaven

oh, by the way, I picked up Horrorscope by Overkill last week......its great!!!

JMetallica 12-20-2004 04:37 AM

Good to see everyone getting into the 'kill. \m/

ThrashMaster27 12-20-2004 04:47 AM

BOO!

Guess who? that's right punks, it's me. Been busy moving, going to Queensland and other random crap, but now I return. Currently jamming along with Judas Priest - Painkiller, whenever I can do. Anyway! what's been happening in our thread of delight?

LordDargon 12-20-2004 06:19 AM

It kind of died when you left. Only got 3-4 posts a day.

Where you around when Enemy of God leaked?

If you haven't got it yet, you can download it here:

EDIT: They're gone. UltraBoris must be on to us

Apocalyptic Raids 12-20-2004 06:57 AM

lol, ultraboris, love that Master Of Puppets review :D

and, what instrument do you play FaceInTheSky?

metal-militia 12-20-2004 08:59 AM
oh, by the way, I picked up Horrorscope by Overkill last week......its great!!!
My 2nd favourite thrash CD :)

FaceInTheSky good luck with your band and will we ever get to hear your demo's?

Pandfair 12-20-2004 09:18 AM

I don't recall you asking if you could join.

Well I'll list some of the first things that come to mind:

Anacrusis
Razor
Sabbat
Violator
Dark Angel
Death Angel
Devastation
Dekapitator
Destruction
Kreator
Sodom
Exumer
Exhorder

...aaaand that should be enough
