So does anyone know if an original copy of Megadeth's Killing is my Buisness..is worth anything?

Lord Abortion 12-20-2005 05:16 PM

6 pages, dear me.

The version of Great expectations was God-awful. They turned it into a fucking Pantomime...
Dickens would turn in his Grave, it pissed in the face of all my literary ideals.
Fun...really, missed the all important Y and N from the end.
Turned one of Dickens' masterworks into a pissheap packed with stupid puns and childish low comedy...Fart jokes in a Dickens based play, they should be fucking shot...

Probably worth a bit to hardcore fans who don't yet own it.
Is the production really as bad as they say?

Kage 12-20-2005 05:18 PM
I know that. I just think it's over hyped.
And crap like Friends isn't?

I don't find 99% of TV shows on TV funny, but somebody out there must. Seinfeld is pure quality. The writing on that show is genius.

I picked it up today and been busy, so I dont know yet.
Erm, how bad do people say it is? I really dont notice bad production being a BM fan. I thought Wormed's production on Planisphaerium sounded good.

I didn't even say anything about friends....

If anything, Frasier blows Seinfeld out of the water in smart comedy.

Friends is just an example of an over-hyped show that doesn't deserve its hype.

The way storylines are intertwined into one another in Seinfeld is unmatchable.

I watch Seinfeld constantly, almost always have an episode on in the background. I'm a bit of a fanboy.

Well put it this way. The remasters sound crap.

Seinfeld is awesome.

Remasters of which? Wormed, or Megadeth.

Megadeth. They also missed out "these boots" because Nancy Sinatra wanted too much for it.

Lord Abortion 12-20-2005 05:35 PM

I like the Megadeth remasters...

Are they doing another KIMBABIG version?
or is it going to be expensive for ever?

I don't think they're remastering KIMB again.
I also like the other remasters, many in the Megadeth thread do not. So I keep quiet.

Me too. I dont see why people say they are terrible. Rust in Peace sounds really good.

Ive never heard the original though...

Does anybody here know a lot about guitar maintenence? I'm trying to find out why one string on my guitar goes dull an hour after I change it, but I don't want to take such a small thing to the guitar forum.

Most people don't like the RIP remaster 'cos the lyrics on Five Magics are different.

gillygan 12-20-2005 05:57 PM

Bridge problems?

hmmm. I usually dont listen to vocals at all in music. Unless its rap or power metal.

Two and a half men > Everything sitcom currently on television.

Also, call me a nerd, but the new Battlestar Galactica series on SciFi is awesome. Great camerawork.

I've never heard the originals TBH...I should come back to the Megadeth thread...I still love them.
Bridge problems?
Possibly. I'm thinking it's either something with the locking nut or down in the bridge, because I can't see any obvious problems.

What frustrates me is that it only affects one single string. :(

In all honesty, they're not that different.
And yes you should come back. It's been awfully quiet in there.

Saddle? Doubtful but possible.

I have enough bridhe problems over the summer. the G strings would always last about a week before it broke because the hole in the brigde in which the string goes, like under the saddle, was too sharp. God i suck at explaing myself.

Shadows 12-20-2005 06:03 PM
Saddle? Doubtful but possible.
That was my guess, but I have a feeling I'll end up taking something apart or opening something up to find it. That makes me nervous, because I'm a n00b when it comes to the technical aspects of guitar. :(

Sleepy 12-20-2005 06:03 PM

I think it's the nut on the tuning pegs, shadows. I had the same deal with my bass a few weeks ago. Tightened it up and the problem was solved.
