:lol: Oh man yeah, I remember my first impression of bodom - I heard Kissing the Shadows and was completely blown away by the intrumental part of it. I couldn't understand what Alexi was saying through those growls though, so I went and looked up the lyrics...

Bland riffing? The riffs make the album, my friend. The guitar combined with the keyboards make some really cool, unique riffs. The solos, I'm glad, are still there in full force as well. They're more thrash-oriented now.

EDIT: I just checked what Ken had to say in the YSI thread. He said no free music transfers are allowed on the boards, period. That means no videos. :upset:

You should probably still be able to stream them. That might also work better, since it might be difficult for some people to download whole videos.

What i said isn't my opinion but i had the impression that most CoB fans weren't too impressed with the lack of neo-classicalness like Follow the Reaper and Hatebreeder. I agree with anyone that says this is just another wonderful album to go with the rest :)

That was my initial thought. If people were able to follow a link and watch it directly instead of ahving to download it they're more likely to watch the videos. That problem is that I don't know any site where I could stream that many videos, each of which has a huge file size. Any ideas?

That's what the new album is. It's very different but it still has familiar elements that I love from Bodom.

I've been considering it. I was actually planning on doing stuff this weekend. A good friend asked me if I would do a two-man Goregrind project with him, and we were supposed to get together to start writing and practicing. I'm also making good process with writing for my solo black metal project, and that same guy was supposed to help me with rhythm guitar and keyboards.

I've waited for so fu[SIZE=2]cking long to be in a band. And now I've gotten the opportunity to do two of them, and thanks to the horrid Gladieux Enterprises, all that is sunk for at least another week. Fu[/SIZE]ck you, employment. I'm very pissed off if you couldn't tell. :mad:

im kinda excited cauyse i going to a guitar competition thats going to be covered on the radio (im not playing my friend is hes pretty good but way too obsessed with zakk wylde but iv got him into COB and nevermore and he got me into trivium) itll be pretty fun i went to one where he was in it, and got a special second place prize. its interesting to see the other types of guitarist there are out there (although i have too admit some of them did suck but atleast they tried id sign up but i dunno what i would play :p).
