Massik Kretal 08-20-2005 10:19 PM

Im lazy.

Double Bass Jim 08-20-2005 10:20 PM

Well I know bobaflex is the first band to play, I missed there set completly I heard they sucked anyway so no big deal. The next is dry kill logic generic metal HORRIBLE live show poor musicicanship ect..., then symph X goes on one stage and then dillenger escape plan plays on another stage at the same time, I watched X obviosuly since I despise DEP. Then nevermore plays one stage and fear factory plays another. At my show fear factory was on the main stage so I wanted to get my seat for DT. I had to sit through their garbage until it was over for DT  then after DT megadeth comes on which I skipped and left early.

Massik Kretal 08-20-2005 10:24 PM

Is there 2 stages for every concert or was that the way your area was setup? If its everyone then would you suggest Nevermore or Fear Factory?

Double Bass Jim 08-20-2005 10:26 PM

Nevermore, at least they have a decent guitar player.

Depends on the venue I guess.

TheClash6412 08-20-2005 10:26 PM

fear factory if dt is coming on after, you could focus on pushing your way to the front instead of listening to them....i went to a concert once 4 days after i had knee surgery and i was on crutches and they let me go to the front, it was tight

Double Bass Jim 08-20-2005 10:28 PM

Symph opened with the song inferno, what a killer opening riff.

Massik Kretal 08-20-2005 10:32 PM

Sick, I can't wait.

EDIT - Anyone else goin on Tuesday?

Win A Rabbit 08-20-2005 10:44 PM

Massik Kretal 08-20-2005 10:47 PM

Win A Rabbit 08-20-2005 10:57 PM

Win A Rabbit 08-20-2005 11:18 PM

Massik Kretal 08-20-2005 11:19 PM

Nighty nite.

Juicy_Forlorn 08-20-2005 11:20 PM

Hey Jim do you think you could recommend me some Symphony X? The only songs of their I know are Sea of Lies, Fallen, and Accolade 2. They're pretty good and I'm interested in hearing more.

Massik Kretal 08-20-2005 11:23 PM

Of Sins and Shadows

Double Bass Jim 08-20-2005 11:25 PM

Yea check out death of balance/lacrymosa for a great drum track.

Inferno's great, the divine wings of tragedy, smoke and mirrors, the edge of forever.

The song the odyssey too what a masterpiece that is, one of the best compositions i've ever heard.

Juicy_Forlorn 08-20-2005 11:27 PM

Awesome, thanks.

Any recommended albums to start with?

Double Bass Jim 08-20-2005 11:28 PM

Start with the odyssey.

Juicy_Forlorn 08-20-2005 11:30 PM

Morning everybody, hows it going?

PowerStamp 08-21-2005 07:16 AM

Jim!
Dry Kill Logic is a great band, shame on you. DEP too.

But Dry Kill is actually very versitile, one of the greater bands from the "nu metal" era (their old CD kinda was, new CD not so much), and put on a great show last I saw them.
:P

stabbinspaghetti 08-21-2005 08:39 AM

lpmeca 08-21-2005 09:58 AM
