I give Christ Illusion 4/10

I quite like some of the songs on it actually.

The first riff in Flesh Storm and the Supremist are really cool imo.

Flesh Storm, Cult and Eyes Of The Insane are good. The rest is just boring.

I figured I'd check it out, I'm only on the second song, but I thought Flesh Storm was pretty solid.

I think it's just my fanboyism that allows me to like about just 2 songs on this album. If only I had a time machine.... I'd take them back, slap them and show them the music they need to be writing back when they wrote Hell Awaits, then I'd make Kerry buy some Rogain.

Skeleton Christ was so gay. Seriously, just gay. Catalyst was okay, but the whole thing was "[SIZE="2"]f[/SIZE]uck this, [SIZE="2"]f[/SIZE]uck that". Flesh Storm was the only one I could actually get into.

I'd give the album a 3/10

yes. I know what you mean...the only songs I like is Flesh Storm, Jihad (I hate when Tom first starts singing though...holy crap!), Cult and then the rest is pretty much lame except for a riff here or there.

Kerry's lyrics seriously suck nowadays. It's that damn Slipknot. They've corrupted him.

I've seen people post that Eyes of the Insane was one of the good songs, but....uhh....I think it was the worst song on the album. Even worse the Skeleton Christ. I'm curious about the writing credits, because I honestly really like Flesh Storm (Too bad it's the only song I like). I'm thinking that Jeff wrote it.

Who knows, I might get flamed, but I think they've been going downhill since Show No Mercy, with the only exceptions being Seasons, which was better than South of Heaven and RiB, and now Christ Illusion, which is better than GHUA.

Show No Mercy, Hell Awaits, and Seasons were the only good albums. /rant

Chemical Warfare is my new fav Slayer tune. After seeing it live, I love it so much more.
