Hardcore emotional hardcore. That makes about as much sense as Beowulf having sex with Robert Fulton at the Battle of Antietam.
Yeah I told you it was stupid, but I still use the term sort of, since I haven't got a better way to describe the Gravity bands.
Song Of Zarathustra and Maxmillian Colby

Forstella Ford is awesome. Not really emo though.
Maximillian Colby is awesome! I really love 'Balance'...everyone should check them out

Hahaha. Some, yeah. Some, no. I gotta share the wealth.

SGlove: Soulseek is cutthiscity but it tends to only let certain people browse 'cause my firewall's autistic. If it doesn't work, message me on there and I'll figure something out.

Anyone heard Blame Game? kinda an emo Don Caballero.

cbmartinez 10-12-2005 04:53 PM

Man, I repped Blame Game in this thread over like a year ago. Stickfigure records, awesome band.

deadohiosky9 10-12-2005 05:07 PM

i'm listening to this hot cross/lickgoldensky split, and lickgoldensky are realllllly f.ucking bad. but hot cross's "patience and prudence" owns the one on cryonics.

Mute Print 10-12-2005 05:09 PM

Hot Cross is such a good band. I have Cyronics and Fair Trades and Fairwells, and I really like both.

cbmartinez 10-12-2005 06:01 PM

Yeah, I rememeber downloading a bunch of stuff from there. That's how I figured out about IWSMOFFY, Me And Him Call It Us, Milemarker, Coulier, The Hal Al Shehad, etc.

Hey guys... i've bought Saetia's "A retrospective" a couple weeks ago... And i love it... Now i'm planning to purchase some other albums from similar artist:

1. Hot Cross - Cryonics
Is it a short album? (length-wise) there's only like 10 tracks right?
I know quality > quantity.. I just like to know...
2. CTTS - As The Roots Undo
same question...

If anyone can helps, that would mean a lot, thanks...

Btw, i'm from Indonesia..
In here, well almost everyone has the definition of Emo/Screamo wrong.. (according to this forum)
Once, there's a radio DJ that ask a local band what are they listening to currently.. The band member said Avenged Sevenfold and Bleeding Through, then the DJ said "Oh, you're an emo kid..." I was like "What the hell??"
I think both bands are more like metal/metalcore...

I admit that i used to think that The Used, Dashboard and such is emo..
After reading www.fourfa.com i get confused because the explanation is SO much different... i try to get more information, then i found out what emo/screamo really is.. IMO please don't spam if i'm wrong...

Sep 10-13-2005 02:24 AM

CTTS album is like 44 minutes. Get it, it's incredible.

I am not sure about Hot Cross, but I reckon it will be at least 35 minutes.

StandingStill 10-13-2005 02:33 AM

It's only 33 minutes actually. Very good though...

I could send you the Cryonics CD for cheap if you like.. I don't like it, only listened to it once.

so besides the ignorance of the majority, is there any scene for emo and/or screamo out in indonesia?

tornpictures 10-13-2005 07:28 AM

Aren't Utarid from Indonesia? Or Malaysia maybe?

whiteminority 10-13-2005 07:31 AM

i dont know, torn you always know about emo bands that i never have heard of. :upset:

Saturday Supercade 10-13-2005 07:49 AM

Jup, Im pretty sure that there from Malaysia; Arwith, Fadli, Redzwa and Allen(don't think he is from Malaysia though)

StandingStill 10-13-2005 08:05 AM

Reconstruct, Nostalgia + Varicose Vein are some decent Malaysian bands. Think Jahilia are from that neck of the woods as well.
