Been meaning to get into ambient stuff.

Found some on a blog maintained by Ron, Berkey, Countorus and some other guys. Think I'll probably like this. Downloading Grouper, Whisper Room and Tim Hecker atm.

the2stranger 03-01-2010 04:16 PM

Ambient drone is the way to go. ;)

Jaundice 03-01-2010 04:17 PM

Get some Klaus Schulze and some Cluster.

Morumbar 03-01-2010 04:18 PM

Idk, I couldn't get into drone. Been trying out some Sunn 0))) and some Earth.

I've been listening to minimalistic classical music for some time now, though, and I like the ambient I've come across.

RetiredAt21 03-01-2010 04:19 PM

Someone recc me ambient that I would actually like. I like weird and creepy stuff. Espesh when I'm messed up.

Morumbar 03-01-2010 04:29 PM

Might check that out sometime. I've written it down. For now, I think I should give what I just downloaded a spin first. ;)

@ Peter

the2stranger 03-01-2010 04:32 PM

Yeah, it sucks when you have a huge download queue, but not time to listen to it.
I try and be selective in my buying/downloading.

EDIT:
I'm going to read a book and go to bed.
Later guys.

Jaundice 03-01-2010 04:33 PM

Morumbar 03-01-2010 04:59 PM

Well, you can still go out if you don't mind the rain. They're not actually gonna stop you, right?

Anyway, gotta hit the hay. See ya.

Jaundice 03-01-2010 05:01 PM

Well it's raining heavily. it's not storming or anything but it's much more than a drizzle.

And they can't physically stop me from doing anything but they're my ride everywhere and all my friends live about eight miles away.

And if I did try to leave anyway they'd probably scream at me and threaten to call the police and come up with some punishment like not giving me money for two weeks.
