Sup Chris? How's everything going?
Doing good, man. Just got back from the gun range, which is always a fun time. Just about ready to head to work for a while. I picked up a part time gig at Gander Mountain on top of the normal welding day job for a little extra beer money. How'r things in the east?

Beer money is always good. What do you do at Gander Mountain? I've just been trying to get through the semester. I've got a study abroad trip in Grenada to look forward to over the winter break.

Two weeks, living on this boat:

We are going to visit islands and a volcano, go snorkeling, and jump off a cliff into a volcano. I'm excited as hell.

Other then that, just getting more involved with radio. I am interning at a late night jazz show and still doing my own show. Yesterday, I interviewed 2 bands from NC that contacted me and I helped them book a show. I even took them to a local ****-hole bar haha

Things are pretty good right now.

Altmer 11-15-2008 02:43 PM

Oh man, listening to the new Cynic (off that for a while) and it is totally blowing me away. These guys rule so hard.

Now I am really stoked I get to see them as openers for Opeth. That is one cool bill.

Lucky...

Anyone know how to fix Mozilla when it refuses to load pages after updating?

Using explorer is really a pain in the ass...

Do some googling around or something. I've never heard of anything like that. What pages are you trying to load? Do you have any addons? Disable them if so and see if it changes anything.

Angmar 11-15-2008 02:51 PM

It just won't load pages period, I read some stuff on their site but none of it has helped/worked, I could try uninstalling AVG and see what happens I guess...

RiceMonster 11-15-2008 02:53 PM

If you think it's AVG, you don't have to install it, just shut it off then try. It could be blocking it. Antivirus software is annoying and does **** like that.

Either that, or just try reinstalling firefox. Never hurts.

internet explorer 7pro is great tbqh

loads fast, mouse gestures, adblock, d/l manager, etc.

RiceMonster 11-15-2008 03:00 PM

Why anyone would want to use mouse gestures is beyond me. Opera does that out of the box, and there's a firefox addon for that.

Plus, I use Linux, so no shitty IE for me.

Nostalgia 11-15-2008 03:02 PM

I get that all the time with Mozilla after updates. I just restart and it works again.

idk, IE just ripped off other browsers and put a bunch of good features into one browser.
Anything to make it not poopty is fine by me. I have zero problems with it

mryrtmrnfoxxxy 11-15-2008 04:00 PM

Permanent Solution 11-15-2008 04:00 PM

Haha actually I took your recommendation when I listened to Focus (which had probably been on my computer 2 years and never listened to) but then Traced in Air showed up at the station yesterday.

Guess I know one album that's going to be on my playlist...
tablets are not as good as the real thing, if that was so we wouldn't be eating veggies if they didn't taste good to us. Tablets are only useful if you are sick or have a deficiency/disease causeing for it.
um no, diatary supplements are "as good as the real thing" and are necessary if you dont want to eat any animal products whatsoever

AA-12 11-15-2008 04:31 PM

supplements rule so hard and can highly enhance anyones diet. heil.
I think someone in my neighborhood died. There's cops EVERYWHERE and mostly every street is blocked off. It took me over 30 minutes to get home because I had to take every side street as possible and when I finally got home I noticed there's a helicopter circling over... it's kind of cool.

I'm pretty certain there was a murder 'cause there's mobs of people out in the street sobbing to themselves.
Yup. 19-year-old kid was murdered less than a block from my house.

AA-12 11-15-2008 05:35 PM

my good friend that moved when i was 12ish killed himself.

good times when it comes to people dying.

For all the hate Nightmare Revisited got...I have enjoyed more tracks than I've disliked thus far.

TojesDolan 11-15-2008 09:59 PM

death is overrated

people are people

Angmar 11-15-2008 10:00 PM

Why so negative?

Glitterati 11-15-2008 10:06 PM

I actually believe it's people that are overrated.

masscows 11-15-2008 10:07 PM

agreed

adb 11-16-2008 12:57 AM

so I played Traced in Air, Sham Mirrors, and instrumental versions of Alaska and Fortress today at work, was pretty sweet.

Nostalgia 11-16-2008 12:59 AM
