I love f1, but most races are dull and boring these days, there might be a lap of 2 of somethign exciting, but then its just dull. But i still love it.

And i just ordered tickets to go see ross noble :)

Squirrel 07-23-2007 05:40 AM

Ross Noble is awesome.

2muchket! 07-23-2007 07:32 AM

He's not that funny. Honestly I saw one of his shows I wasn't impressed. He just waffled about nothing really.

He's ace, i like him for waffling on about nothing, he just seems to go off an random tangents about absolutely nothing, its great.

2muchket! 07-23-2007 07:47 AM

Meh each to their own. He can't really stand up to Lee Evans tho in terms of comedy.

Dr Hooch 07-23-2007 08:12 AM

I just installed the 1996 classic "gran prix 2" through dosbox and it's so realistic

ie

the first half lap is interesting

and after that

not so much

finishing even a 20 minute race is a real test of how easily bored you are

I used to have that, and i also baught GP3, and 4, and i have f12002, there all very fun, but i never do anything more then a 10 lap race.

Dr Hooch 07-23-2007 09:17 AM

what's fun is going through the pack backwards

"how many cars can i take out

before mine won't drive anymore?"

Oh yeah, i did that, its best if you put your car on invincible and do it, just destroy everyone else and then you can win the race too.

 opinion completely invalidated when you say that lee evans is anything above 'worthless pile of **** that deserves HIV'.

2muchket! 07-23-2007 12:55 PM

Nah.

If you honestly believe Lee Evans isn't a good stand up then your idea of this form of comedy is very misconstrued

I don't think you get what I'm saying so I'll just give up.

Squirrel 07-23-2007 01:36 PM

No, i get what youre saying and my retort is perfectly applicable.

Grohlthegreat 07-23-2007 01:47 PM

I find Ross Noble funnier than Lee Evans. Lee is good but i found i could only watch the same performance twice, after that i didnt find it particularly funny.

Patrick O))) 07-23-2007 01:58 PM

Everyone turn on BBC2 now and revel in what is the best program currently on tv these days, 20th Century Battlefields.

It wipes the floor with everything else around atm imo. JUST LOOK AT THE LITTLE CG TANKS!!!! :D

2muchket! 07-23-2007 02:01 PM

Dead Star 07-23-2007 03:43 PM

Lee evans is about as funny as chlamydia
Lee evans is about as funny as chlamydia
Truth, I've never understood what is supposed to be so funny about him. One thing that sticks in my mind in particualr is that I remember seeing that Bohemian Rhapsody gag of his, which according to everyone I know who likes him is his funniest gag, and I thought it was even more unfunny than the rest of his material.

Jev 07-23-2007 04:39 PM
Lee evans is about as funny as chlamydia
That reminds me of a straightedge band I saw last night attempting to start a circle pit "RUN AS IF AIDS IS CHASING YOU"
They were also selling Vegan cake :-/

Dr Hooch 07-23-2007 04:50 PM

happy;

these gigs

make baby jesus' tears fall down like rain.

Jev 07-23-2007 04:51 PM

Hey I wasn't there for them, they were an unfortunate support act.

ChodaBoy 07-23-2007 04:54 PM

Wtf is a straightedge band?

Untitled 07-23-2007 05:00 PM
Wtf is a straightedge band?
You know, there not allowed to have fun, get drunk, have sex, etc etc.

Dr Hooch 07-23-2007 05:09 PM

bands that believe you can't be emo and enjoy yourself too

2muchket! 07-24-2007 05:24 AM

They also seem to have stupid haircuts these days.

Lmao vegan cake.

Jev 07-24-2007 05:26 AM

The hair wasn't to bad but fat guitarists kicking there legs were.

Surtr 07-24-2007 06:57 AM

Jev 07-24-2007 07:00 AM

I wanna go Iceland :(

ChodaBoy 07-24-2007 07:06 AM

FFS, I thought the student finance covered accomodation? Ive got a form here from the uni asking for my details before 31st july so I get my room

Squirrel 07-24-2007 07:41 AM

What do you mean covered accommodation.

Untitled 07-24-2007 07:45 AM
FFS, I thought the student finance covered accomodation? Ive got a form here from the uni asking for my details before 31st july so I get my room
It does, but the Student Finance people pay it into ure bank and then you debit it to the uni. Its not like the Tuition fea payments.

ChodaBoy 07-24-2007 07:56 AM

Good good, sort that out later then. But seriously, to say the government want more people to go to uni, they dont make the whole process easy

http://www.unite-students.com/QuickSearch.do?propCode=PR1TRINI
Thats what Ive been offered, if anyone cares

Looks nice, and from the pictures it looks like you get a blonde lass in the bathroom

How much is that a week?

Also, i just went to the shop for some bread and milk, and thaught hmm ill buy some crisps, so i baught some seabrook, man there amazing.

ChodaBoy 07-24-2007 08:09 AM

For a single room its £57.70 a week, I might have to get a doublebed though if that blonde chick is going to be hanging around all day.

WOMEN!

Squirrel 07-24-2007 08:12 AM

Im not following this talk or finance and whatnot; you apply for money, you get money in account of your specification, you set up standing orders to the uni.
