this album sucked but stranger than fiction is a top 5 song for them

was disappointing yes, for me Against The Grain holds a special place in my heart plus the track "The Positive Aspect of Negative Thinking" rips. Suffer and No Control rule too

never liked them

suffers ok but when they started getting good at writing hooks after that it was like **** dawg

yeah 30 years in the business theres gonna be some laziness for sure

reading comprension bad after long day at work. I did think they got lazy tho from Stranger Than Fiction up to a much much better effort in New Maps Of Hell, with the odd exception

only listened to vertebrae and that seemed okay - is this album any good?

I haven't heard Verebrae, but Below the Lights is great. It's where they really pushed into 'progressive' territory, but I can't be bothered with anything beyond it. Runn is too much, so I can't imagine I'd be very into Vertebrae.

Just get Eld, it's amazing.

but i like their 'progressive' twist in their career. Or at least from what i've heard of it. Nevertheless i definately have to try some of their earlier albums out i suppose?
