Wow you guys have drug dogs and testings at your school? That's extreme.
The worst thing that's happened at my school is the fire drill.
Even then, we just go out onto the oval and talk until teachers tell us to go back to class.

We have random drug tests and drug dogs, no biggie.

We've been having walk outs and mini-riots at my school this week. I've been part of it. Brown Pride.

1500 kids walked out of my school dude. Then they walked to Dallas.

You guys need to find something actually worth fighting for. It's just school, nothing bad enough worth protesting about.

And I need to learn to spell "actually" 'cause it doesn't look right to me.

Bills over immigration...particularly one where they suggest making it a felony to be an illegal immigrant here where they would then remove the millions of illegals making money for their families and deport them back to Mexico and then build a 700 mile wall as the new US - Mexican border.

I thought illegal immigration was already, ya know, illegal. What does that have to do with kids walking out of schools though? Seems like they are just trying to be dramatic like they got some kind of purpose. Kids do that.

Well I goto a high school with a high hispanic population...so I don't think its hard to see why they were walking out.

And I love how people can't even get away with doing peaceful protest without others on their backs the second they do so. F'uck that, those kids walked 10 miles to protest with other people like that, that's more than I've done.

My highschool is like 50% Asian, and 80% of our international students are asian.

I'm not on anyone's back. People can do whatever they want and fight for whatever they want. Personally, I wouldn't do it even if I was hispanic or whatever. It seems pointless, but I didn't know they were actually walking somewhere to take part in something. I guess that makes more sense.

Some media outlets were really picking on the protesters. They were making the kids look bad and trying to make them made. I saw on the tv a clip of a kid walking away and all of a sudden a cop pushes him really hard. It was like a bus hit him.

Yeah, they're here illegally...but Mexicans and other people from ethnic backgrounds have been coming over here illegally for years and we've lived our lives just fine while they are working the jobs you snicker at with your friends to scrape together chum change in the long scheme of things.

And to make it a felony to be an illegal...come on...are you really going to put someone in jail for trying to give their family a better life?
