Sounds crap. I'm alright i guess. Didn't get to play much drums today cos i went out to the woods cycling cos i was angry and it kinda vents my anger a bit...

Just replied to a poster in the uni music centre for a band looking for a drummer. Turns out they're all 2nd and 3rd years (I'm only 1st) so I hope they're impressed! Not going to try and pull anything wacky, just play my stuff. It's my kind of music so if all goes to plan then I'll finally be in a solid band!

I am getting a Wii, I dont want it but the rest of the family do so I thought id be generous and let the price get split a few ways so some of everyones budget is taken away lol so that leaves me with about £100 left, it sucks cus this year we're on an economy drive *tut*, we dont need to be on it if we all cut back on shopping and designer clothes lol but anyway.

I have a few options;
1. Replace all the batters on my kit - All the toms and the bass and a snare reso.

2. Buy some hats, my stock ones cant cut it any longer haha

3. Get some better hardware - cymbal stands, hihat stand

4. Get a double bass pedal

DAMN MAN! I need them all lol but I cant afford it :(

I'm buying a Wii. Its the only console that looks at least remotely interesting.

My friends are all buying different ones. One is buying a Wii, 2 are buying Xbox 360's, and 2 are buying PS3's.

I don't play enough games to buy a console of any sort. My brother's had a 360 for a couple months now, and I've played it for a total of 5 minutes. Just doesn't interest me.

well the wii is priced at £180 compared to the ps3's £550 (somewhere there) for the 60gig.

Lucky bastards over in us get it tomorrow while we have to wait until march :upset:

I would never buy a console at this day in age, as I don't play them enough. The Wii definitely looks the most interesting, as I saw in the commercials, you actually fight in Mortal Combat and you shoot your gun in the shooters.

Why would you buy a console when it first comes out? You realize the prices approximately halve after about a year right?

Then again, that's a year without playing Wii at your home. And the Wii is relatively cheap compared to everything else in the video gaming world. A Wii is like the equivalent of World of Warcraft for a year.

well the 360 hasnt come down a great deal. I might get one of them when they get cheaper

Computer games are better...

The only downside to computer games i see is that you can't really play a local two player.

My ZVM is still effed. I have to send it back to Creative, but in order to do that I have to get an RMA number off the telephone. It's been 90 days since I've purchased the player, but the phone call warranty only lasts for 60.
So I have to pay $12.99 to get the ****ing RMA number, then $16 shipping, plus bubble wrap and a box. Then, because my labor warranty has expired, I have to pay for the labor involved.

But I know what they're going to do. They're going to open the player up, remove the battery, and put the battery back in. But it's going to cost me $50.

So I'm going to be paying nearly $100 for a f[B]u[/B]cking mp3 player that is broken because of THEM. I haven't dropped it! I charge it dilligently, I take great care of it.

Try updating the firmware for the device. Try reseting it. Try anything you can before you send it to creative. There might be a dodgy track or movie on there.

there must be some combination of buttons which resets this device. Delete all your movies. If you're really content on not sending it back to creative, it's worth having to re load them again.
