There were other bands at that concert too, right? I think I have a recording of Neil Young doing Helpless from that show.
Yea, lots of guest stars. Neil Young, Neil Diamond, Paul Butterfield, Eric Clapton, Jodie Mitchell, Dr. John, Ringo Starr, Ronnie Wood, Bob Dylan, and more!

ATM 04-09-2005 11:29 PM

I see myself living right outside of the city, married with a kid, and working with art and computers. I will also be involved with music heavily, I know that for sure.

10 years...I'll be 28.

I don't know. I don't plan on getting married, or maybe finishing college at this point so it's hard to say heh.

EDIT: I'll be 29, gg not knowing my own age.

lunch998 04-09-2005 11:33 PM

I'll be 26 probably working at some crappy job I hate, and my life will be over.

Jom 04-09-2005 11:33 PM

See, I tried to give a BS one-sentence answer, but I was asked to elaborate. Oh well.

NP: HammerFall- "Warriors of Faith"

This song by Brand New is cool, I don't care what anyone says :)

Yea, I am a big loser and go back and read what I miss now. So it didn't give you a boner?

To Vince:

Weird, dude.

Jom 04-09-2005 11:44 PM

I said that it didn't give me as big of a boner as it did for you :)

I also said that it was a very good movie.

ATM 04-09-2005 11:46 PM

Anyone up for some trading?

Jom 04-09-2005 11:49 PM
Anyone up for some trading?
I pitched this idea a few pages ago (you probably saw it):
In Alt&Indie, they have a YouSendIt thread where people randomly upload songs in the thread. I was wondering if I could start one similar like that in R&M:

1. Users can request others to upload songs for them, as this would be easier for trading (if for some reason they cannot find it on the Internet).
2. People may upload songs, so long as they provide brief reasoning as to why they uploaded it.

If not, then scratch the idea :)
Everyone is seemingly all for it, but Bartender gave me an indifferent answer. I'll ask Jelle when he returns... but would you like this type of thread, or not really?

ATM 04-09-2005 11:50 PM

Hell yea. I contributed to the one over in Alt/Indie, I don't see why I wouldn't contribute here.

YSI is my middle name.

Six Foot Revolver 04-09-2005 11:52 PM

Arrest YSI this man?

ATM 04-09-2005 11:53 PM

Christian YSI Baer. My real middle name is secret.

Jom 04-09-2005 11:53 PM

Okay, so I got definite yesses from about everyone ITT save for Bartender, who told me to "See what everyone else thinks."

:(

Do you think we should just keep that thread idea ITT, as opposed to making a thread for everyone else to join in on?

ATM 04-09-2005 11:53 PM

Up for some trading in this thread?

Permanent Solution 04-09-2005 11:56 PM

trading itt=less threads=better

ATM 04-09-2005 11:58 PM

Is there any way for me to see what my first post here was?

Jom 04-09-2005 11:59 PM

I don't think you can use the search feature after you hit 150 posts ITT, so you'd have to do some hardcore searching.

If you have a lot of time on your hands.

Not in this thread, just on the forums.

I saw them in concert last year. Probably my favorite concert. Which song?

And AH, how'd you like the movie?

Jom 04-10-2005 12:02 AM

Eh, sorry man. Not unless you can remember the first thread you posted in :-\

I thought it was very entertaining. I liked how the three stories were interwoven together. Just because I didn't get as big of a boner over it compared to you, ATM, and Efilnikufesin (among others) doesn't mean I didn't think it was a quality movie... in fact, it was a well-spent $5.50. I would see it again.

Jessica Alba in GQ, eh? I need to see that.

Diet Mountain Dew doesn't taste as good as the regular.
