Has anyone noticed in nearly every Maiden booklet that comes with the C.D, there's nearly allways a picture of Dave Murray holding a can of larger smiling?
C'mon, it's rude not to have a picture of Dave with lager, it's like Dave not smilling :O.

supreme maidenite 01-30-2005 12:44 PM

Josh 01-30-2005 12:51 PM

in one of the inserts there is also a picture of dave almost exposing his genitals, which is just kind of wrong.

SOTC is my favourite steve epic
the rime comes a close second though

the_uber_penguin 01-31-2005 03:48 AM

IAJP 01-31-2005 11:42 AM

Yeah, it was pretty interesting.
Not essential though

shadow_stalker 01-31-2005 12:14 PM

damn i was hoping that it would be shit so i didnt miss anything good :upset:

Josh 01-31-2005 12:25 PM

i havent watched any of it, ive missed 2 shows i think. i just thought he looked funny in a pilots uniform on the picture from the show on the maiden website.

shadow_stalker 01-31-2005 12:28 PM
dammit! still no UK tour dates!
yeah i just checked for dates about an hour ago

maybe they won't play in the uk

Josh 01-31-2005 12:47 PM

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo dont you dare say that!

shadow_stalker 01-31-2005 12:49 PM

you may have to accept it

but considering they are from england i doubt that they would leave us without a tour...but then again

EDIT: i said it

Josh 01-31-2005 12:50 PM

meh, they might suddenly announce a huge UK tour - that would be class.

shadow_stalker 01-31-2005 12:52 PM

they sould spend like 3 months touring the uk, and play newcastle a few times

Josh 01-31-2005 12:54 PM

yeh that would be great. except the show might get repetitive. but so what...you'd know what songs were coming up

shadow_stalker 01-31-2005 12:56 PM

well they change the set list for each time they played the same place

Josh 01-31-2005 12:58 PM

now that would be worth paying about £75 for - seeing them 3 times with 3 different setlists.

shadow_stalker 01-31-2005 01:03 PM

yep, hmm i wonder where i could get £75 from

oh well i guess it will never happen, just as long as they play newcastle

Josh 01-31-2005 01:06 PM

yeh. anyway im off now, seeya

the_uber_penguin 01-31-2005 02:08 PM

Maiden to play the London Astoria would class...

I would be amazed if they do the Greenday thing...

PICK ME!!!

Thunder Fingers 01-31-2005 02:12 PM

Greenday? i heard about SUM 41... but i live in norway, we tend often to NOT get the same opening band as rest of europe..:p last time we got Arch Enemey..

rik 01-31-2005 02:35 PM

Arch enemy? great support band. I don't think he was talking about Greenday supporting though, I think it's something to do with them pulling up members from the crowd to come onstage.

Greenday supporting Iron Maiden

I don't see it happening. I'm not sure how long Greenday would last...

If they did, it would be worth ANY price to go see (Loves Greenday nearly as much as Maiden)

EDIT: Although that's not what I tell the pop-punk forum
