today i played through that for 2 hours, with an ampeg CL, best tone. EVER. :p
I mean that cab sounded better thanthe 810, the 410, the 410HLF, the 115, even the 610, the only cab i couldnt compare it to was the 412. Man i have found my dream set up. Fender American P, Ampeg CL, PRO HLF 410.

Haha, no ... a year or so ago I was taking them at Michigan State University, and my instructor was amazing. Chops-wise he was really good, but he was insane when it came to theory and stuff. Which is what I need. So if my parents/me can afford it, I'm gonna start back up to get my sightreading skills/ theory skills up a bit.

Yeah, thats like the best ampeg cab ever. The combo is the best of both worlds. Vintage tube tone. modern speced' cab, full range, i was talking to this old slappdog at gc, he was comenting on how it sounded as good has his vintage fulrange cab. :cool:
