Yeah I was impressed by how much better the new TTEOTD song was than the other stuff they've done. I've always found them extremely cheesy.

the new vocalist is pretty good, too.

TTEOTD's EP is outstanding and the new album is decent. Their drums always sound like **** and the new vocalist is worse than the last one, but the last one used way too many effects/too much distortion for my liking.

Tommy growls almost exclusively (even though his growl is horrible), and blastbeats/chromatics are in no way indicative of any particular genre. Still, it's there.

his vocals have always sounded like a throaty yell to me, except for of course, when he goes deeper or goes clean.

And i'm just pointing out some of the telltale death metal signs, even though, yeah, chromatics/blastbeats arent exclusively death metal. They're common in it, though.
