I need some really good metalcore. Tell me up some bands please. id be most grateful :chug:
Kiss It Goodbye Botch Converge 7 Angels 7 Plagues Indecision Integrity Coalesce Skycamefalling Poison The Well (First two albums only) Rorschach That's pretty much the only metalcore I listen to unless I'm forgetting some bands. Those are essential bands I just listed. |
New Poison The Well is better tbh.
|
The only PTW I like is 'The Opposite of Decemeber'. I personally think they are a tad overrated.
|
I'm all about A Tear From The Red and You Come Before You
|
Opposite of December is their best.
Although I did check out YCBY and it is really good also. |
guys, listen to Pale Creation, Threadbare, Rise and Fall and One King Down
|
One King Down is good. Hoods are good, too.
|
Hoods blow, dude.
|

HELL NO |
Yeah, that was a ridiculous statement.
Hbp, stop it. |
I'm sorry. I don't like Hoods.
|
My favorite metalcore bands are: As I Lay Dying, Killswitch Engage, and Haste The Day :)
|
I seriously can't stand Haste The Day.
|
Way back when my band used to play their covers
|
How old were you, 14?
wait... |
haste the day has some tight riffs and have good stage presence.
|
How old were you, 14?
wait...
I think I was 12 ish. |
I used to play in an AC/DC cover band.
Good times. |
haste the day has some tight riffs and have good stage presence.
Meh. Not really... you could say that about the other two, if you emphasize the some part. |
I kinda lump HtD into the gihugant pile of mediocre generic garbage that is growing daily.
|

thats the $hit right there! |
On topic of incredibly trendy mainstream metalcore, I'm gonna see August Burns Red and Unearth tonight.
And of course Darkest Hour. :) |

And of course Darkest Hour. :)
I had the opportunity to see that show last night, but I wouldnt want to sit through ABR and Suicide Silence to see Darkest Hour and Unearth, on top of the fact that it's a 2 hour drive to that venue. They should have come to Albany, there's more metalcore kids there than any other place I've ever been (hxc dancing at death metal gigs every night and everything) |
I like August Burns Red, and I won't mind seeing Suicide Silence.
The venue is luckily a fifteen minute drive, tops, from my house... and it's down the street from the Pizza shop that sells me booze without carding me, sooo.... I'm gonna dance SO HARD tonight omg omg. |

:angry::angry::angry: although, if I was drunk I probably wouldn't mind fighting the air during Unearth's set, since I mean, half of the time they're playing there would be a danceable breakdown going. |
hardcore dancing is pollution of the airways
|
it's also incredibly fun when you're drunk.
|
I did some crazy **** at a moshcore concert while I was drunk once. Watching people hardcore dance while sober is hilarious though, I really can't get over how stupid it looks.
