I enjoy Rob's vocals, but it takes some getting used to, especially if you're used to Messiah's dramatic voice.
Rob is a bit more agressive in his singing.

Still, I don't think they could have found a better replacement.

Actually, I think he's merely "pretty good" on KotGI, as opposed to his godliness in SA.


For the record, Johan owns Messiah, but Messiah is great.

I too prefer Johan. I can also see how someone could find Messiah off-putting.

Messiah's vocals could be off-puting just because of how sarcastic they sound at times. Other than that, they're probably some of the best I've heard in metal.

His ridiculous falsetto also contributes to the hate.

Well ignoring the fact that you are very wrong because no band has even come close to matching Autopsy (Talent means nothing - riffs are everything), perhaps you'd better start by naming some of those bands that are better than The Melvins (within the same microgenre).
