Im guessing this is dustin? I would do a clash song but i dont know how to record on the computer and what not.

Rush by BAD is in the Movie Big Daddy, which is on tv. Very good song really, classic Mick Jones.

We're making quilts about our lives. It seems very middle schoolish, but I'm not complaining; it's easy as hell. I just draw a bunch of pictures of stuff I like.

I know this isnt 100% true, but what do you guys think of this? If its true, i dont know what to think.

I've just read that thread. Looks a bit dubious, but if it were true, I would like to go see it, since I wasn't alive to see the band first-hand.

Obviously it will be a little hollow considering Joe's tragic absence, but it's the Clash nethertheless. What of Topper? Will he appear?

Why not they just get back together and have mick and paul sing, they have enough songs with them on vocals to do a set.

I think I won't go to that.


I believe it's a disrespect to Joe's memory. But I highly doubt it's truthfulness.


Has anyone picked up that Walker record? I saw it at FYE and I was like, whoas! It isn't a rumor! It's like a soundtrack written by Joe to a western movie.

I've heard of Walker, and I want it. The actual movie sucked though, I've read.

I don't but the "re-uniting" thing, and if it IS true then they aren't in it for money. Remember, they had Sandinista! sell at the price of a single album.

Yea somone from that thread said they are doing it for the love of music, plus they dont seem like the type that need money to go out and buy a lamborgini either.

The Walker record actually sounds good. I've heard a few tracks, and the basslines are f'ucking tasteful. A couple songs sound like random mariachi band filler, but when Joe sings again, it's all worth it.


And I don't think they're doing it for money either, but still...It shouldn't be done.

The chapter of [I]Let Fury...[/I] that talked about all of the movie stuff that Joe did is one of the best. And the Latino Rockabilly War (Joe was with them after doing Walker) had a guy from Sham 69 I think, or some other punX band. I'll have to re-read.

Somone explain this walker thing to me :confused:

Walker was a movie in the 1980s about some American soldier who declared himself Dictator of Nicaragua (same place as the Sandinista revoltionaries) in the 1860s. Joe composed the soundtrack, the movie tanked, but the soundtrack sold 10,000.

Does joe sing all the songs in it.
