nope, i won't be at the nook untill next monday around 6:30.

today at 3:15 i think i was deficating

Static 08-28-2006 08:13 PM

That's real nice.

Well there was this kid there who looked a lot like you, but I didn't want to ask if his name was Sean because I'd feel stupid.

HeLLmO 08-28-2006 08:58 PM

hha, nope, it wasn't me. i don't go to the nook much except for lessons, or if i need a book, usually i go to GC because they have better selection of sticks and heads(does the nook even do heads?)

Static 08-28-2006 09:07 PM

Yes they do. Quite a selection for a store as small as the Nook.

HeLLmO 08-28-2006 09:52 PM

that i did not know, i'll have to start buyin' heads from there

What is a good ride to pair with a 22" K Heavy Ride. I have a 20" crash so i DONT want a crash-ride, something with a bit of wash but complex. Not brand specific, i don't mind.

We_Love_Lime 09-01-2006 07:25 AM

I'd just say 20inch CoD.
I don't know if it even fits your discription.

Naw, but I use it as my ride. I mean since you already have a heavy ride with good stick definition, you might want to look into one. It's very verstitle in terms of dynamics, and the bell produces a somewhat regular Medium Ride ish ping sound,

But you don't want a crash/ride ( Which is what I use it for too ).
So .. Heh, that's all I got.

Rite, im looking into getting a new china.

I own a 18" Wuhan, and a 18" UFIP Tigar China. The thing is, neather of these is what i am looking for (the wuhan is lovely, but to trashy, and the tigar has to much attack).

I want a china that is going to be musical. Trashy but with decay.

SO what do you lot think?

Also, do you think me putting a cymbal sizzler on a 20" UFIP Class Crash(like a 20" A Crash) , would that do a job?

What do you guys think?

HeLLmO 09-02-2006 08:18 PM

AAX stage or studio maybe? paiste 2oo2 would probably get the job done

Aaron 09-02-2006 08:39 PM

What type though? I should add, I don't play loud aggressive music.

HeLLmO 09-02-2006 08:57 PM

i'd say just like the regular, classic, 2oo2 ride. it's listed on the paiste site as "ride" though i do think the crush ride is cool

the CoD is an incredible cymbal

We_Love_Lime 09-03-2006 09:04 AM

Damn Straight.
Daaaaamn Straight.

HeLLmO 09-03-2006 09:26 AM

yep. i haven't decided on how i'm gonna use mine, but when i get it, i have a feeling it will all become clear

We_Love_Lime 09-03-2006 09:27 AM

Yes.
Like an Awakaning.

HeLLmO 09-03-2006 09:40 AM

totally. i may use it as a ride, i may use it as a crash, i may use it as a specialty crash for breakdowns and accents instead of a china, i just don't know yet

We_Love_Lime 09-03-2006 09:40 AM

Hell, you could use it as a hat.

BTW, I noticed you didn't vote for me, this makes me very angry.
AHAH.
God, jk mate.

HeLLmO 09-03-2006 09:45 AM

haha, i didn't vote for you because when i clicked the thing on purevolume it wouldn't play

We_Love_Lime 09-03-2006 09:47 AM

Oh wouldn't it?
Haha, no I don't care.

Cocaberrys is probably better, I havn't gotten aroundt o listinng to it yet.
You have to click something at the top, which says Redirect to "rtoubias" page or whatever. That's might not it, you know what? I have no ****ing clue what I'm talking about. It might also have been the fact that you can't hear the ****ing background music haha.

Did you do something for it HellMo?
