Alice Cooper is coming to Calgary. And I have my tickets. I'm a little worried about him being old and burned out :(
My cousins saw him a few weeks ago and they said he put on one hell of a show. It seems he's got some left in the tank.

i_hate_regestering 08-27-2004 02:29 PM
how so?
Most of his recorded stuff is heavily psychedelic, and very organ lead. He doesn't always do that live.

Broken Arrow 08-27-2004 08:23 PM

I just bought The Who- Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy Brand New for 7$ cdn.

Happy?

Badmoon 08-27-2004 08:34 PM

No, because one third of them are mediocre the others are good. The good ones rarely get read :(

You don't brag about your reviews. Maybe if you said something we would be all like "wow he did reviews, good job". Ya know?

Once I get my good acount back i'm reviewing...
So how about the Who. I have Live at Leeds and Who's Next and my new C.D any opinions on them?
The Who is the greatest Rock band ever.

Broken Arrow 08-27-2004 08:50 PM

yea Live at Leeds is incredible every classic Rock fan should own it or at least somthing from the Who.

Broken Arrow 08-27-2004 08:52 PM

I got my 8 yer old brother hooked on classic rock. when all the other kids are listening to Backstreet boy my bros listening to Sabbath,Frampton ,Deep Purple and AC/DC.

The_Bends 08-27-2004 08:56 PM

I hate how people miss The Velvet Underground and Iggy & The Stooges, who I think are the greatest bands ever. Has anyone heard "Nico" or "Loaded" by the Velvet U or "Funhouse" or "Raw Powe" by The Stooges? You're all missing out.

RockAndRoll 08-27-2004 09:11 PM
I just bought The Who- Meaty Beaty Big and Bouncy Brand New for 7$ cdn.

Ya I had that CD, then I lent it to my friend for a schoolday and apparently he lost it in washroom (that's what he says but who takes a cd to the washroom?). So I went to the receptionist at my school and asked her to make a call for if anyone had seen the cd. But she said that she wouldn't and if I wanted her to I'd have to get CD's with more appropriate names. It was ****.

Broken Arrow 08-27-2004 09:11 PM

Ya its a great C.D. for a great value.

Your friend is a dirty liar he probably stole it.

Badmoon 08-27-2004 09:23 PM

Well, if it makes you feel better, it's a compilation. Meaning you can find a lot more, though maybe not the exact one.

:)
