aww and i thought we were pals

Sid 09-12-2005 11:20 PM

Yeah post count doesn't matter when it comes to someone's intelligence. Look at Shane. Look at all those posts. Do any of them matter when he has down syndrome? F'uck no, we all laugh at his goofy a'ss.

shane italian 09-12-2005 11:22 PM

Seeing pictures of your ex sucks when you live in a different state. Seeing pictures of all your friends sucks when you live in a different state. And on that note, I'm horny.

Sid 09-12-2005 11:23 PM

Aw okay Shane, the small bus is here now though, time to go home.

shane italian 09-12-2005 11:41 PM

A Wilhelm Scream are one of the best bands ever. On that note, I slumber.

Brain Toad 09-12-2005 11:42 PM

If you move up SF, Shane, you'll make tons of friends. And some good looking girls up there, ask Sid, before he went gay, he was an SF pimp.

shane italian 09-12-2005 11:44 PM

We will all have a Bay Area MX Party at the nearest Roller World.

So the ladies are hot up there?

sketchyjoe 09-13-2005 08:20 AM

I'm listening to Slipknot.

albert_bass 09-13-2005 08:34 AM

I don't like them, only several songs. "Wait and bleed" is a smart one imo.

I'm listening to Anchors Aweigh and I've decided I like it quite a lot, except 3 songs or so.

Drop The Baby 09-13-2005 08:44 AM

Sing Along Forever is a f'ucking amazing song, one of the greatest eevr written

albert_bass 09-13-2005 08:47 AM

The first 4 songs on the album (apartment 5f, new day, kids and heroes, sing along forever) plus last one (I'm from there) are all awesome.

Drop The Baby 09-13-2005 08:51 AM

anchors aweigh and highway kings are the next best i reckon, kids and heroes and born free are very good too

albert_bass 09-13-2005 08:55 AM

meh, my choices were much better. I'm now listening to their s-t, very awesome I must say, never listened to it from front to back before.

Drop The Baby 09-13-2005 08:58 AM

haha my choices will always be better than yours young Albert!

The s/t, Hopless Romantic asnd HISMSV are all incredibly good, what a great band. Seen them three times :p

albert_bass 09-13-2005 09:01 AM

heh, I hate ya for all the shows you've seen and you know it. Be going now, later.

Slipknot as in, the Woody Guthrie song.

Good! Slipknot the band are absolutely terrible not even funny how bad they are!

True Believers = Probably the best pop-punk song ever.

Drop The Baby 09-13-2005 09:29 AM

possibly, i wouldn't like to say. The souls have got some great anthems themselves, with Sing ALong, True Belivers and Manthm plus other incredibly good songs like Say Anything, Kid, Hopeless Romnatic, Private Radio and the like

albert_bass 09-13-2005 09:46 AM
Slipknot as in, the Woody Guthrie song.
Oh, I see.

True believers is the best Bouncing Souls song, no doubt about that. One of the best pop-punk songs ever maybe and a pop-punk anthem for sure. That song is just a perfect 10.

widzjnent 09-13-2005 11:46 AM

anchors aweigh is awesome, i bought their dvd 15 years of the souls, which is great awesomeness

true believers is tha bomb

Drop The Baby 09-13-2005 11:54 AM

ah good stuff, i've been keeping a look out for that DVD for a while and haven't seen it anywhere.

I will step up my search

widzjnent 09-13-2005 12:09 PM

it's a double dvd set (nearly 6 hours of material), only for fans
it includes:
- a (very good and very long) documentary plus over an hour of deleted scenes
- 6 music videos, behind the scenes look at the 'gone' video
- a poster
- 50 song setlist of live footage, in my opinion this is the only poor thing about the dvd. It's fun to watch it once but the songs are seperate (another location) and a lot of them are filmed unprofessional so the sound quality is poor. I thought it would be better when they shot a whole concert on a professional way with good sound quality.
Now the waiting is for their the show must go off which will be a whole concert.

the dvd was very expensive, 35 euros, i wouldn't say worth every penny but it's still awesome

Drop The Baby 09-13-2005 12:14 PM

Still sounds pretty good. They're releasing a live CD this coming autumn i think i'm right in saying, although that might be the other dvd i'm thinking of

widzjnent 09-13-2005 12:19 PM

indeed, i think you mean the dvd: 9/27/05 - The Bouncing Souls Live @ The Glasshouse Pomona CA

In better news, I'm giving my new speakers a good run by playing things pretty loud, my floor is shaking.
