It's a definitive/elite list. It's a list of bands and/or albums that the majority of the metalcore thread approves of, something that would point noobs in the right direction. Do we really wanna be responsible for getting noobs into Hatebread?

I'm nowhere near the elite status of you fagz, but even I have reservations of putting Hatebreed in such list as this.

Did they really bring anything new to the table? Plus they are annoying. Unoriginal after one album.

No place here imo.

Backed hard.

Hatebreed should definitely be on the list.

Probably, but then again I didn't care for BTBAM the first few times I listened to them, then when I saw them in concert, I really enjoyed it (though I couldn't understand one word he was saying haha).

Perhaps I have to give it time.

Damn looks like I have a LOT of Metalcore albums to listen to.Also how did American Nervoso make the list and We Are The Romans didn't?

Xplisit 04-08-2010 04:08 PM

i wondered the same

2muchket! 04-08-2010 05:00 PM

I have most of those

SlightlyEpic 04-08-2010 05:01 PM

I think I might start getting the ones I don't have on that list, sort of apprehensive though

Aaron 04-08-2010 05:02 PM
One more person should ok, though.

Also for any noobs who care, The Human Abstract now has the screamer/guitarist from FFTL and The Color of Violence as their front man. Pretty jokes.
Not calling Hatebreed important to metalcore is like saying The Who isn't important to rock. In hindsight they weren't that good, but they still influenced.

Aakon_Keetreh 04-08-2010 08:33 PM

are they better than buried inside?

2muchket! 04-08-2010 08:51 PM

Different variations on metalcore, but I personally as of late prefer buried alive
