Ming-a-Ling 06-29-2006 05:22 PM

Colorado starts with a 3 or a 7, and Montana starts with a 4.

shablul 06-29-2006 05:22 PM

Uh, how do I put a avatar like you guys? o.o

Tang. 06-29-2006 05:22 PM

First you must answer my riddles to get an avatar.. you game?

shablul 06-29-2006 05:24 PM

Found already.

Sunshine 06-29-2006 05:24 PM

But...he has a...

Nevermind, I don't get it =/

Janeway 06-29-2006 05:26 PM

I haven't seen Pulp Fiction.
It's always on IFC, though. Apparently it's the only cult movie ever made, so I'll catch it sometime in the next couple months.

NY starts with a 4. =/

shablul 06-29-2006 05:27 PM

LOL it's a bit confusing I guess.
I didn't find the User Control Panel, so I thought WTF?
So I asked here and I wanted to see if theres a new post anywhere in MX, so I clicked on Forum Jump and there it was, the missing User Control Panel!

Tang. 06-29-2006 05:38 PM

Oh silly Shablul, gosh I love foreigners.

I love you too :)

Tang. 06-29-2006 06:05 PM

Aww. So where are you from?

shablul 06-29-2006 06:06 PM

Israel.

Janeway 06-29-2006 06:14 PM

I swear that's the only jazz album you listen to, Jeremy.

Aw man. I just ate dinner.
I had a half a rack of smoked ribs that had so much beef on them I couldn't finish them and gave a few to somebody else, a side of the baked beans that had shredded dried beef in it, a huge load of fries, and garlic bread. It was so good, but I couldn't finish.
Agg. I'm so full.

Ming-a-Ling 06-29-2006 06:19 PM

It's just my favorite. I listen to alot of your man Coltrane too. As well as Miles Davis, and Cannonball Adderly. Then I have a folder filled with assorted jazz but I don't know who alot of the musicians are.

Icky_Mettle 06-29-2006 06:23 PM

I wanna find a girl in real life who loves Sun Ra....and has a taste for men.

:[

Janeway 06-29-2006 06:25 PM

I'll buy you a scalple, thread, and a ticket to New York.
Nucka.

Edit: Yeah, I haven't actually listened to 50% of that folder.
Sun Ra just finished downloading yesterday.

Most of the metal has gone untouched save Finntroll and Opeth, too.

Futuro 06-29-2006 06:27 PM

My hard disc crashed a few weeks ago, I just have ELP, Tool, Rush, King Crimson, Zappa, Sir millard mulch, and Shakti on my comp right now.

EDIT: and Tabla beat science.

hi-yoooooooooo

Janeway 06-29-2006 06:29 PM

Hooooo rep.

Janeway 06-29-2006 06:45 PM

Neerg. I just printed out all of Radioheads lyrics for OK Computer.
I'm going to go upstairs and listen to each song while writing the lyrics in my therapy notebook. The one with the Greta Garbo/Louise Brooks/Marlene Dietrich collage that I never quite finished but probably should now that I remembered it.

Bye, MX.

Icky_Mettle 06-29-2006 07:09 PM

Why not Amnesiac instead?

The wordplay and story are the best of all of Radiohead's stuff, and it's like a super focused Kid A.

The Ska Man 06-29-2006 07:20 PM

OMG!111---What?!---...Snakes on a plane

A_Guy 06-29-2006 07:25 PM

I'm relieved, I thought I ****ed up my car's transmission yesterday because I put it in reverse while driving (yes, I know, I'm a retard), but it turns out it's just the brake discs or something like that.

Janeway 06-29-2006 07:41 PM

I don't have Amnesiac yet.

I've got Kid A, OK Computer, and Hail to the Theif.
I'll probably download the rest of their stuff tomorrow.

OMGXXXGRRRZ!
HEX is on in half an hour.
I'm thirsty but I just brushed my teeth and rinsed with flouride crap that I'm not supposed to eat or drink for 30 minutes afterwards.

Sunshine 06-29-2006 09:28 PM

Whoo.

Finally got me some plane tickets for the Japan.

The only sucktastic thing is that I leave Tucson for San Francisco at 6 in the morning. Which means I should be there ~5, which means I have to stay in the Super 8 and wake up at like 4~4:30.

And it's a 3-hour layover. But then, international flights require long-*** layovers.

And...flighing back through LAX. Ew. Ah well.

Apparently in the past month, Narita has had 3 security breeches [whoo parents in the MI field]. And yet, my mom is still sending me there. If something happens she's going to feel God-awful and probably need therapy.

styler 06-29-2006 09:34 PM

i know how you feel bud, i just flew across canada one coast to the other. British columbia to newfoundland, on the flight back we flew one hour from st johns to halifax, which is a one hour flight, waited in halifax for two hours, then flew 3 hours from halifax to toronto (i hate going there, its all 2020 ish and advanced, and everyone is rude. had to stay there for 3 hours, then took a 6 hour flight from toronto to vancouver.

not to mention the plane in toronto had an engine defect and after they had everything and everyone loaded they realised it and had to move us to a different plane...took forever.

Sunshine 06-29-2006 09:42 PM

Ugh, that blows, I'm sorry.

I almost hate traveling, if only because I've done it so much.

Lets see, I might actually break the 24-hour-travel mark.

I don't get to include my drive to Tucson 'cause we're driving up the night prior and staying in a motel.

We'll get there...2 hours early. I'll be on the plane and everything should be good in about 1/2 an hour. The flight is about 2 hours long. Then a 3 hour wait, then an 11 hour flight. Get there at 2, the bus for base will be there at 5 [PM, mind]. Considering the time of day, it should be ~4 hour bus ride.

25 and a half. Yep.

Ming-a-Ling 06-29-2006 09:43 PM

Ack...and I thought my 8 hour trip to Montana was bad.

Sunshine 06-29-2006 09:45 PM

The thing is, I've done this trip like at least 4 times before. And Japan to Italy was no better.
