how can you fall behind senior year

my ex girlfriend was/is falling behind because she stupidly decided to take like 4 AP courses. i slacked off so much senior year.

i missed 53 days of school during my senior year.

It's mostly my math class, I don't see why everyone is like "omg senior year is the easiest ever". I'm in an AP gov class to but I'm doing great in there, lit has a bunch of busy work assignments that I have a few I need to get done idk.
