I can't gain weight though, no matter how hard I try.

I've decided to try gaining weight by muscle rather than fat.

It's also not working, I'm looking more toned it seems, but I still weigh like nothing.

It's the curse of a high metabolism/being skinny.

I don't look disgusting skinny though, I look fairly normal.

6'2 and 125lbs sounds rank, i'm 6' and I weigh in at 160 pounds and i think im on the slim side.

If youre not bulking up youre not eating enough protein and calories.

Weight gain shakes are just whey protein shakes, theyre very bad for you if you dont have a high calorie intake [3500+ kcal a day], keep VERY hydrated and exercise.

Eating fewer small meals can help lower it. Theres also pills for it if its that much of a problem for you.

Getting more sleep can help too, 10+ hours significantly slows your metabolism.

Fewer small meals won't happen, I already have massive meals.

More sleep can't happen either. I'm already sleeping as much as I possibly can.
