Puberty. It's the difference between being 16 and being 18/19 and someone telling him to sing from his chest instead of his nose. To my knowledge he hasn't taken formal lessons. I think he's met Melissa Cross two or three times but he hasn't really taken lessons with her. Even the difference from These Colours to Soft Targets kinda shows this.

Any idea on when a song will be released to the public?

Considering they haven't started recording, and haven't played one live, a while. They're demoing right now. By May I imagine they'll be playing stuff live and might be recording. That's me talking mind you.

I dont know why you thought they were recording already but I'd probably imagine it coming out in early 2011.

Yeah this is the only band on this forum where someone seems to ask when a new album is out every few days.

Can anybody tell me why the heck don't they answer e-mails I send to protestthemerch.com? I pre-ordered their DVD+T-shirt+Poster thingy way back in August I think and it never arrived. I was really patient 'cause I'm from Hungary so according to their FAQ my order may take up to 30 days..but it's happened before that I've waited for like 2 months for something to arrive here from the US, so I've waited and sent my first e-mail in mid-January..then sent more since but no reply..

They don't answer because the members of PTH don't run that site. They occasionally post little blurbs or something but it's a store, BigCartel runs it, I think.

Let me look into it for you though.

Yeah, I didn't necessarily mean 'they' as members of the band, but anyone affiliated with the site. I would think it's someone's job to answer these e-mails and help with the problem, that's why it's called customer service, but it seems like noone gives a sh*t.. I think it's in the FAQ of the store that the e-mail won't be answered if the question is a stupid or obvious one, but this is not the case.

They've always had bad luck with merch carriers. When it was run by UO back in 2003, they lost a shirt I ordered. When KillThe8 took over in 2006, I had a shirt get lost for about four months (and it was shipping from Toronto to...Toronto). Now this.

If Lights just exploded onto the scene looking like another over hyped Cyrus/Swift clone I would probably hate her. She didn't, and even though a lot of her songs are "make your teeth hurt" sweet I don't find them grating.

She's obviously genuine, talented, and cute as all hell. Screw the drummer from The Devil Wears Prada, dude is lucky.
